Most of the political crises and scandals in Hillary Clinton's career have centered on her randy husband, the former president Bill Clinton. There was Whitewater and Ken Starr's investigation, and Hillary's cattle futures deal, but those were outliers. There's no sex romp by Bill to blame this time, though, not regarding Benghazi. It's Hillary's fingerprints all over Benghazi, not her husband's.
There's no bimbo eruption that requires Hillary's master touch to quell. Gennifer Flowers is a distant memory. Monica Lewinsky's semen-stained dress will turn up one day on Mysteries at the Museum. The quietly suffering wife storyline won't play this time.
Former Secretary of State Clinton is dead center in the burgeoning Benghazi scandal. It's Hillary's judgment, decision-making, and ethics that are coming under fire (Mr. Obama won't be far behind). No doubt, Bill, indebted by years of Hillary's managed bailouts, is troubleshooting Benghazi for his bride behind the scenes.
But Bill is too crafty, and gives a real damn about salvaging something of his legacy, to play too conspicuous a role. Of course, since Hillary has the goods on her hubby -- every crumb of his sordid personal and professional life in her lockbox -- Bill will be obliged to step out to defend his wife if it looks like Benghazi will do irreparable damage to her reputation and fortunes.
Be that as it may, Hillary's outsized problem is that Benghazi doesn't involve her sex life. If it did -- somehow -- concern Hillary's trysts and sexual peccadilloes (does Hillary own cigars?), then the mainstream media and the culture's lefty arbiters could compartmentalize and dismiss her transgressions as merely personal, unrelated to her performance as secretary of state.

Scandal fatigue quickly sets in.
If Hillary really had some stones she would have used that as an excuse to kneecap Obama. She would have had a much better chance at election in 2016 if a Republican got in this time.

A recent public opinion poll asked 1,000 folks to name who they believed to be were the most trusted people in America. Something like 7 of the top 10 were Hollywood actors with TOM HANKS at number 1.
I would ask Tom Hanks to reconcile the following facts:
You were featured in at least two films based upon the traditional American idea that the lives of those who serve this country have value and worth nearly any price to save. It’s the “No man left behind” thing. Those films were “Apollo Thirteen” and “Saving Private Ryan.” Additionally, you and Spielberg joined to produce the “Band of Brothers” series.
You (and Spielberg) were staunch supporters of and contributors to Obama during both his runs for the White House.
It has been clear to many of us from mid-September, 2012 that Obama or, with his approval, a top official ordered the brave men who were prepared to go to Benghazi to attempt to save Ambassador Stevens and 3 other Americans to STAND DOWN. The recent congressional hearings have simply added more evidence that those men were abandoned to die at the hands of MUSLIM madmen.
May I ask you how you justify such massive hypocrisy?

PS: Since Michelle Obama came in at number 19, it would seem the sampling for this poll was seriously skewed. Another probability is that there are millions more idiots out here than I thought there were and this country is in deeper chit than we ever knew.

The latest Spring chants at that time were "We're all Osama now!"
How wonderful that would have been at election time! Plus if it caused a big enough stink they might have gotten away with the negligent Homicides at Ben Ghazi.
Further perpetuating the myth that Clinton’s impeachment was about sex. Clinton was impeached because he lied to a grand jury.
Bill should have been hung. Not for lying. For selling our national secrets to the Communist Chinese.
