Toxicology tests show that Adam Lanza had no alcohol or drugs in his system when he shot and killed 20 first graders and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown on Dec. 14.
The toxicology tests were conducted as part of the autopsy by state Chief Medical Examiner Dr. H. Wayne Carver II. Sources said his final report has been turned over to state prosecutors and investigators.

Was he supposed to be taking SSRIs or other medication and just up and quit-—leading to one of those homocidal moments? Or did the tox screen not include prescription drugs?
Spot on! It is possible that he was off his meds.
I guess we’ll just have to blame the evil on him, then.
Because he is absolutely the one responsible for what he did.
What prescriptions did he have and he stopped taking? School prescribed ADHD medicine when he attended public skeewls perhaps? The whitewash continues. Funny how we know all about the Boston bros in a few days, yet it takes months for Lanza info to drip out. The looney left is responsible for this massacre.
Was thinking the very same thing. The problem is that he didn't have any drugs in his system! If he'd been taking his anti-psychotics, anti-depressants, and ADHD medication, maybe he'd been a drooling mass of humanity instead of a stone cold killer.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing???
Too bad we’ve yet to identify a marker for an unhealthy preoccupation with violent video games.
Why does it take six months to do toxicology tests?
I thought that oddly long and drawn out, too.
Maybe they turned the analysis over to the FBI crime lab and they were just too busy faking up all the leftover evidence from Waco, Fast and Furious, etc.
Did his blood test positive for “crazy”?
It doesn’t sound to me like the tests took six month. The article says they were included in the final autopsy report, which was just completed. So, they weren’t released until now, but they were probably performed and completed long ago.
So he was nuts, his parents and brother knew he was nuts, and no one insisted he take his medications.
You may not be off the mark. When we tried to get out autistic son off Prozac twice, both time he became suicidal and increasingly violent. We gave up in the end and he is still on it but doing better overall with the help of still other drugs.
When the facts don't fit your preconceived notions then it must be a oooooh! A conspiracy.
It never occurs to your fertile black op imagination that in a country rife with malfunctioning education system, violent entertain industry, divorce, lax parenting or no parenting at all, damaged kids with an defect in the brain's wiring and a bad attitude. Just add in access to weaponry to this toxic mix and voila! Mass murder!!
With damned few adults willing to take responsibility in this society, is there any wonder we don't have many, many more shootings like this.
Do we really need to invent conspiracies theories to explain this mayhem?
This is the flawed world we created and the cracks are getting wider....
It took five months to get this information?
My thoughts, exactly.
So, by this report, we know know nothing new here. Just keeping the frenzy, above the fold in the paper.
No mention of when the chief examiner’s report is due.
Oh well, in case anyone is interested: There is a gun buy-back in Hartford this Saturday.: http://www.courant.com/community/hartford/hc-hartford-gun-buy-back-0514-20130513,0,2055554.story
**Stop & Shop gift cards will be the currency: $150 for an assault rifle, $75 for a handgun and $25 for a shotgun or rifle.**
IIRC, that state still hasn’t adequately defined what an *assault* rifle is, so if it is black and scary, it might qualify for a food card.
You can’t fix stupid.
Adam lanza was just evil, why cant people just accept that and stop trying to find some reasons that justify what he did?
What would some people do without conspiracies?
Funny how SSDI had his death the day before the shooting at 2:29pm.
Funny how often reports are wrong, isn't it?
