Any pretense libs had as being anti-dictatorial has been totally shattered by this story. I’ve been reading liberal blogs about this and ALL OF THEM support what the IRS did and say they did nothing wrong. DU’ers are saying the IRS SHOULD investigate and punish (not just groups seeking tax-exempt status)but ANYONE (GOP/conservative) who disagrees with obama about anything as an enemy of the state.

IIRC, and I lived through the Watergate scandal, it was never shown that the “enemies list” was drawn up by Nixon personally. It was Colson and John Dean that came up with it....but Nixon was held responsible for it because it was his administration.

The sources I read say Nixon had no enemies list. The Lefties just started bragging that they were on "it." But unlike Obummer, Nixon never persecuted anyone or, say, took over GM and defrauded the bond-holders. He did give us the EPA and lots of "affirmative action," thanks a lot.

The most important scandal is the AP one. If the press turns on him, or at least becomes more hard-hitting, it can inadvertently help save the country. The AP issue has the possibility of changing everything.
