Note -- that clause takes away my vote as well. I've volunteered for about a year with Mother Teresa's and with Caritas, but that's not what I mean -- I mean something focused on the USA and not a charity

Even a paraplegic can do something -- people have brains or force or both

Think about it....do you really want some government entity deciding on what consitutes “service” to our country...?

If you are a citizen and pay taxes...are at least 18 years old...old enough to serve in the military you can vote...

That is already Maryland state law thanks to O Malley.

And Federal law is 18 for federal office elections.
But don't expect Obama to enforce that.

The idea of being forced to “serve” your master government for a vote is horrible.
