Chris Matthews toxic anti-conservative vitriol has spread onto other MSNBC shows, infecting them with his slanderous language. It is no secret that Matthews opposes the Tea Party as extremists, often times accusing them of outright racism towards President Obama.
Appearing on PoliticsNation with racist host Al Sharpton, Chris Matthews disgustingly claimed that a full 10-20 percent of this country:
[w]ant this president to have an asterisk next to his name in the history books that he really wasn't president They can't stand the idea that he is president. And a piece of it is racism. Not that somebody in one racial group doesn't like somebody in another racial group. So what? It is the sense that the white race must rule. [See video after jump. MP3 audio here.]
Matthews racist rhetoric didnt stop there, essentially claiming that 20 percent of the nation are outright racist, although he had no evidence to back up the number he seemed to pull out of thin air:
That's what racism is. And they can't stand the idea that a man who is not white is president. That is real. That sense of racial superiority and rule is in the hearts of some people in this country.
To Matthews, a large percentage of the objection people have to Obama is racially motivated, disguised as dissatisfaction with things such as ObamaCare:
He wasn't really wasnt the first African-American president. He really didn't do health care. He really didn't kill Bin Laden. Theres an asterisk. And they've been fighting for that, the people like Donald Trump since day 1. They can't stand the idea that he is president.
Unsurprisingly, NewsNation host Sharpton agreed with Matthews racist comments, saying that objection to Obama goes beyond garden-variety racism to white supremacy:
And you take away everything. And because that's what white supremacy is. And that's not calling all of them that. But clearly there is an element there.
Such charges are baseless and unsubstantiated and unfit for broadcasters to spew on air on an alleged news program, but this is par for the course for MSNBC.
Okay Chris, so turn your show over to Herman Cain.
I live in Mississippi and I have all of my life. I don’t know anyone that thinks like that. We do think the world would be a better place if people would return to the WORD OF GOD.
No color in that.

Kinda make me ponder on Saltines.

I love the Hermanator! He would have turned this country around and talked directly to us while doing it... he is one of us.

I am glad to see that they polled all of those dead dims that vote every year. ;-)

I’m sure all 3 of Sharpie Sharpton’s viewers were in agreement!
Well, there’s that too. :(
Quick! See if you can spot the black person!"
I don't have a Twitter account, but if I did, I would be tweeting that exact thing to the albino SOB, right now.
Look at his son’s wedding pictures. This guy isn’t comfortable around black people and it shows, so slobbers all over them in public.
Not racist. We detest Obama’s white half just as much.
Will Chrissy carry Obama's next child to term?
That could be a Philipino or Malasian or Indian. Coulter was just pointing out that liberals are the biggest hypocrites on earth. They point fingers to deflect attention away from themselves. She also said he lives in one of the whitest neighborhoods on earth, I think it was in Connecticut. and he goes around calling people racist. The guy is a razor sharp a-hole.
Nixon was white.
So when Obama and goons use the IRS to go after their political enemies, I still think it's wrong and criminal. But since Obama’s half black, he should get a pass?
Is Matthews’ nuts?
No, Matthews is racist ... why can’t a black or half black man be treated equally to a Quaker White boy? In Matthews’ racist mind they should be treated differently ... because the black boy can’t take equal treatment?
It's Matthews and his ilk who are the first to call "Birthers" racists as well. Really? Does any "birther" in his right mind question that Herman Cain is constitutionally qualified to be POTUS? Or claim that Sharpton himself isn't constitutionally qualified? No, Chris, questioning Obama's credentials is a matter of adherence to the supreme law of the land, and applying it to all individuals regardless of skin color!!!
Of course, being on Sharpton's show, Matthews couldn't resist letting the world know that he himself is a racist by concocting this charge. It's just a convenient but foolish way to defend Obama against his adversaries when just about all else fails.
I agree with you. The reason we can take on Obama is we see him as the President of the United States - and a man smart enough to get to that office.
Matthews - like Biden - see blacks in terms of people who should be 'grateful' to the kind massa who gave them their freedom. Took them out of chains... We might not agree with Obama, but we don't demean him with such idiocy.
What is wrong with opposing Obamuslim Dear Leader on the basis of race (he is half white you know.) Backs hate most white people and jewish people.
Indeed.
I heard the audio clip on Hannity tonight, and that jerk Matthews makes me so mad.
I marched with Dr. Martin Luther King in Boston when I was barely 15 years old, and have worked against racism for 45 YEARS.
Can Matthews say the same?
BTW, I loathe Obama, and actively campaigned for Herman Cain and Lt. Col. Congr. Allen West.
But somehow, because I judge people not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character, that makes me a “raciss”.
