I was a guy who wore a dress shirt to school back then with the obligatory pocket protector.
I spent my time absorbing whatever the media dished out including hours of hearings featuring Senator Sam Ervin, Senator Howard Baker and that Watergate committee.
Rush put in perspective what I had been troubled by for some time: Obama does not wish to appear to be 'governing'... everything that goes well [bin Laden] he can take credit for, and everything that goes poorly, he can share the outrage of the public.
It has worked extremely well - with the overwhelming help of the traitorous media.
I continue to find parallels in some ways with 'Poppa Joe' Stalin [Dzugashvilli]... During the purges good Marxists in the provinces would write Fearless Leader and say, 'Poppa Joe, you don't know what is going on. The secret police are rounding up good socialists and carrying them off to who knows where... Please help us!'
Naturally in no time at all the concerned family - or friends - of those arrested would also disappear. Who could tell what was going on? How could Poppa Joe be so busy as not to notice... not to know?
Well, at the next big patriotic parade there was Poppa Joe smiling and glad handing the children and their parents. What a wonderful guy! ... what a pity that he just never gets to hear what is really going on! Then he would find time to sell them some pixie dust... [with the help of Pravda, of course.]

Well now these “purists” are outraged that Obama used the IRS to deny them tax exempt status??!! Really??!!! I guess it was okay with these “purists” that this schmuck in the White House appeased and apologized to those who have threatened this country and our Troops for the last 4 years! These “purists” were going to show us Conservatives not to nominate a candidate that isn't “pure”!!!
Our Troops suffered the most by those among us who stayed home and didn't vote. It is my hope that maybe now ALL Conservatives will heed the warning that the late Great Warrior Andrew Breitbart conveyed to us all: UNITE or we lose! Please listen to his speech:

I probably need to invest in a pocket protector, too. I’ve got about a dozen books on Watergate sitting on the other side of the room, including this massive Government Printing Office transcript of the tapes that probably weighs about 5-10 pounds. And someone actually had to type all that back then—today Obama’s would probably get transcribed by Dragon Naturally Speaking or something.
