Brit Hume: I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rubio vote against final immigration bill
Daily Caller ^ | May 17, 2013 | Jeff Poor

Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume warned Friday that the “Gang of Eight” efforts to pass immigration reform could be in trouble not only in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, but also in the Democratic-controlled Senate as well.

Hume said by rejecting all efforts to beef up border enforcement, the bill was being condemned to “a death sentence.”

“I think the bill is in trouble,” he said on Laura Ingraham’s radio program, “And it would in trouble whether they had a gang in the House or not, and will continue to be in trouble unless or until the enforcement portion of this is stiffened to the point where people look at this and say, ‘OK, if we go for this we can really count on the border being properly monitored and indeed sealed if necessary.’ Until that happens, I don’t think the bill can pass the House of Representatives, perhaps not even the Senate.”

Allen West would be great.

However, whomever his opponent is will get my vote, even if it’s a democrat.

I really cannot stand Marco Rubio. I’ve had it with RINOs.

Reagan trusted, but he did not verify.

The Best way to enforce the border is to come down HARD on those that are here illegally.

Round em up, fine em hard and send them home.

Wanna come in the right way? Come through the check point.
If all is well, you are in.
If it aint, back you go.

I swear this is one of the only nations in the World that says
“You are illegal? Come on in! You have rights, and MORE wiggle room than Citizens”

I’m a Conservative. Well, no I’m not a Conservative. Well maybe tomorrow I’ll be one again. I’m so dizzy...

"Where is my water bottle...I'm so thirsty too!"

Well one gets that way when lying constantly....

Ted Cruz nailed it.
If you are NOT A CITIZEN, you have NO rights as a US Citizen.
You have Human Rights, but no key to the USA cookie jar.

Yep.

When his annoying conservative immigration reform commercial comes on, the sound goes off. If it’s so conservative, Marky, why is Chuck Shumer so eager to see it pass? Hmmm?

Fool me once as they say.

In for a penny, in for a pound.

Rubio has already done himself political damage. No need to stop now. He will vote for it. He wouldn’t want to disappoint his new BFF’s — Schumer, McCain, Graham.

As I understand, these regs in this bill that are totally anti-American, anti-freedom and pro illegal alien
(1)biometric ID requirement in order for anyone to be employed in the US. Politicians, their families and their staff are likely exempted.
(2)$150 million dollars to go to ACORN type orgs supposedly to aid the illegals in signing up and getting free government benefits and registering them to vote. Guess which party they will be encouraged to register with.
(3)no immediate closing of the Mexican border
(4)no deportation of anyone already here illegally (amnesty), not even convicted criminals (read the fine print)

Rubio will vote against it when Boner tells him he has enough RINO and RAT votes in his pocket to pass amnesty without him.

Rubio has voluntarily neutered himself forever to conservatives

He has joined the likes of McCain and Graham as seekers of fame, not what is right

Stick a fork in him. He is done

I remember an old GF I had. She walked in the house one day and say one of my Reagan books on the kitchen table...and promptly had a fit.

I don’t miss her ;)

If RR could come out an admit he was wrong, the current crop has NO excuse to countermand him. This crap is wrong from every angle.

That horse**** about the illegals not being eligible to apply for welfare for 15 years will last as long as it takes for a racist, La Raza shyster "lawyer" to get a lawsuit written up and on the desk of some Federal "judge".

The horse**** about the illegal aliens being welcomed "out of the shadows" so they can start paying taxes, well, 52% of the people in this country do not pay any taxes. Where are all of these illegal going to get the high paying good jobs that will put them in the tax bracket that will require them to pay taxes? More than likely, they'll all be getting the EITC. That's going to cost us a bunch.

Then there are the "fines" they will be required to pay unless they apply for one of the over 400 "waivers".

America can't afford "immigration reform" right now. We're broke. "Immigration reform" is a joke. ON US!

The final bill will not matter...let’s see how he votes on Cloture, when 60 votes are needed.

I would be surprised to see myself vote against Rubio when he’s up for re-election.

I actually would be surprised to see him vote against it.

But I won't care. I'm done with him either way.

Surprise, Senator Rubio, surprise!

:)
