'Is this still America?'(shortened)

The IRS under the Obama administration painted targets on the backs of conservatives beginning in 2010, and ousted acting IRS commissioner Steven Miller apologized to the House Ways and Means Committee on Friday. But members on both sides of the aisle were furious, and castigated him for the mismanagement and political gamesmanship the IRS engaged in on his watch. Texas Republican congressman Kevin Brady had the harshest criticism for Miller. ‘Is this still America?' he asked him. 'Is this government so drunk on power that it would turn its full force, its full might, to harass, and intimidate, and threaten an average American who only wants her voice, their voices heard?’ 'The American public deserves better,' Miller agreed. But both he and J. Russell George, the Treasury Department's Inspector General for Tax Administration, insisted that no IRS employees engaged in political witch-hunting.

For years we have been hiring black by Affirmative Action.

Our Government agencies are filled with them.

Especially in Washington DC.

What can we expect when these people support Obama?

Exactly what we are getting. Are they being told to turn against Conservative groups or are they doing it voluntarily? I expect a little of each.

Our Government is filled with Liberals and Affirmative Action employees and now we are paying the price.

Call me anything you like, but first look at who is in these offices.

I think that is true, but I think it went further than that. For one thing, I’ll bet that many individuals listed as members or donors were singled out for individual harassment on their income taxes. I don’t believe that is the limit of it, either. I think if we ever get to the bottom of this we will find there is much, much more going on.

Miller became Acting Director in Nov. 2012. This persecution of conservatives began in 2010, as soon as Obama’s henchmen could pull the levers of power at the IRS. Miller was resigning next month, and was not “fired” by the president. That was just another photo op for the lapdog press.

Dems want our country to be a third world hellhole. Odd, there are so many that already exist... why don't they just move to one?
