But remember: Solar flares can do all that, but they can't cause a spike in temperature or a warming cycle on earth. Because if we admit that, it blows our man-made global warming hypothesis all to heck. And good-bye, taxpayer grants.
Only my use of terrestrial radio will be affected. Cellphones and GPS? Not my problem.
As long as it brings some heat to Alaska, I don’t care!
Oh my Lord. How will people text? It’s the end of the world. /sar
Fantastic. So instead of winding up in Hoboken,as intended,I might wind up in Guadalajara.

You may also want to stay away from any drug cartel members.
LOL.
That explains the headaches I’ve been getting. Time to reline my hat with more tinfoil

I really need to spend the 10 minutes to figure out how to post images. The linked graph shows data going back into the last solar maximum. (These guys write with so much urgency, like this has NEVER happened before and we’re ALL going to DIE!!!!) But what I really got a kick out of was the spike that we are currently in, and then the forecasted smooth average continuing - but from the top of that spike!
Don’t forget to ground it!

I was doing some work at a site and this one middle-aged gal actually did have a tin foil hat on. I was working with electronic field instruments and she was all concerned from the energy I was probably giving off.
“Oh - it’s okay, it is all grounded. But your hat isn’t probably not doing much good without any ground wire. You need to attach a wire to it and then have it drag on the ground.”
She complained that she didn’t have any wire. So, I got some wire out, trimmed of the ends and attached one to her hat, she tucked it through her belt thingy on her skirt, and the other end dragging on the ground. She came by the next day and thanked me - she thought it was working much better!
Nonsense! The sun rotates once every 25 days, it's that rotation that will bring the sunspot into a position to direct the flare approximately toward the earth.
LOL!
Great Stuff.
Ear to Ear grinning..
My tinfoil lined hat will work much better now.
I never trusted the true tinfoil hat, only normal ones that are lined with it..............
“Inconstant Moon” by Larry Niven
I was about to remark that I don’t understand why we are having such cold miserable weather if the sun has been active with sunspots lately. I thought our climate was largely influenced by solar activity and I’ve been arguing with Libs to that effect for some time. Was I wrong?
the Earth revolves around the Sun
When did this happen? I just figured everything
in the universe revolved around Barak Obama.../s
