Obama Aide: 'Irrelevant Fact' Where President Was During Benghazi Attacks

Obama Aide: 'Irrelevant Fact' Where President Was During Benghazi Attacks Daniel Halper May 19, 2013 9:48 AM

Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer said it's an "irrelevant fact" where the president physically was during the Benghazi terror attack on September 11, 2012:

Host Chris Wallace reminds Pfeiffer that Obama didn't really talk with Secretary Clinton, Secretary Panetta, or Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, that night. "He was talking to his national security staff," Pfeiffer insists.

Asked about whether the president entered the Situation Room, Pfeiffer says, "I don't remember what room the president was in on that night, and that's a largely irrelevant fact."

Pfeiffer then argues that Wallace's questions about the president's handling of the Benghazi terror attack are "offensive."

I hate to say this but “what difference does it make?” would change suddenly if Chelsea Clinton or Michelle Odumbo were in Benghazi wouldn’t it? I imagine then it would be important where everyone was when they learned about Benghazi. Sad that none of it’s important when it’s “only” some random American that is killed.

Yep. This guy

“I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters. I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.” - Barack Obama, 2007, as quoted by Patrick Gaspard

knows nothin' 'bout nothin' but he's totally up on the goings on of every b'ball team and every trash tv show.

I’m tired of playing on the team
It seems I don’t get time out anymore
What a change if we set the pace face to face
No one even trying to score
Playing a little one-on-one with Reggie Love
***********
One on One — lyrics from Hall and Oates:

Oh oh I can feel the magic of your touch
And when you move in close a little bit means so much
Ooh yeah, you’ve got to understand baby
Time out is what I’m here for

One on one I wanna play that game tonight
One on one I know I wanna play that
One on one I wanna play that game tonight
One on one so slow

Obama was in bed. He didn’t want to be disturbed. He had a big day of golf and fundraising scheduled the next day and needed his rest or he would have been grumpy and would not have had any fun.

Heads would have rolled if someone had disturbed Our Glorious Leader’s sleepy time.

Should we not be filling in the author field when we post? Weekly Standard has done good work and their reporter should get proper credit.

C’mon now....he’s right. The Raghead In Chief IS irrelevant wherever he is. He’s currently in the Whitehouse. We gotta let him be irrelevant someplace else. Let’s make his whole administration irrelevant-and place them in infamy, where they belong.

But the hostage takers decided to kill infidels instead when the two Seals swooped in from the annex.

“Awwesome” is another. A few years ago I saw this video of a blonde reporter being flown in a F-14 and they had a camera on her face, and the ENTIRE flight all she said was “Oh mah gawd! Awwwesome! Oh mah gawd! Awwwesome! Oh mah gawd! Awwwesome!” over and over and over and over. LOL!

President Bush was even attacked for taking a few minutes to get out of the classroom he was in.

We have Pee Wee Herman as our President.

Obama will never ‘run toward the sound of the guns’ as a real leader would do. Of that we can be certain.

It’s funny how much they cared that President Bush was “doing nothing but” reading a book to kids when the 9-11 WTC attacks happened.

They’re STILL screaming that it took him 15 minutes or something to respond...

Funny how things change when a dEMOCRAT is in office...

Job performance - or lack of it - is the relevant fact. What orders he gave are the relevant facts. He obviously either gave direct orders not to send help or delegated the responsibility to somewhere else. Either is terrible and he should be held accountable for it.

W e should focus our attention there. If it comes out during that line of questioning that Obama was in a private meeting with Reggie and ordered no one to disturb under any circumstances, so much the “better”.

But keep the focus on job performance. Keep driving at what he ordered - or didn’t order - done. That’s a hammer he can’t spin away from.

Reminds me of D-Day, when Hitler was sleeping and no one wanted to wake him up to get permission to move the Panzer reserves up to the beaches. Which could have changed the outcome of the battle.
