This is a pretty horrific story that comes out of Afghanistan. The source for it is Mustafa Kazemi, an Indian war correspondent, who has been operating in Afghanistan since 2010 and has worked for AFP.
Due to the horrific nature of the story, I am only excerpting a few parts of it. If you want to read the rest, you’ll have to follow the link. But keep in mind that child marriages like these are happening all the time, not just in Afghanistan, but increasingly even in Europe.

Why aren’t more people objecting the Grover Norquist’s activities promoting Islam and concerned about the influence of his Palestian wife on him. I worry that his “no new taxes” pledge that so many have signed on to is a Trojan Horse. Designed to weaken our military and our country. With a son in Afghanistan this is especially worrisome. I thought Mr. Norquist had been read out of the Patriot and Conservative groups a year ago. He is neither though he still knows some of the terms and phrases.
