A few months ago I was posting that the GOP could craft an alternative bill that shows them as compassionate by giving a break to some of the illegals raised here as children to adults that :
1) Does not allow any government benefits
2) No citizenship
3) They are required to meet ALL obama-care mandates WITH THEIR OWN MONEY
4) They MUST PAY Federal INCOME taxes each year, no EITC
5) No crimes
6) They support all their dependents themselves
7) Graduated High school
And Dems WOULDNT touch it.
Alternatively above at link is a Dem/lib bill approved by Rubio, Mccain, Grahamnesty

I have discovered that too. Not one of them I talk to gives a rip about being American. Go to a western union on Friday afternoon and see how much $$ is going south.
I demand not to have to pay taxes anymore.
A more accurate headline from the Times would have read:
Virtually no back taxes will be paid under amnesty for illegals bill. It's in the fine print.

They should HAVE meet the full Obama-care requirements without government aid JUST AS WE HAVE to, otherwise we are forced to pay for theirs too as we do now.(and their employers shouldnt get the subsidy either, that will give those who came here obeyed the laws a fair shot)

The constitution doesn’t provide for legal residency and paying taxes without the option of citizenship. No taxation without representation - remember this? If they are paying taxes and they are legal residents of the United States - then they will have the option of becoming citizens.
In short - if you do not want them to become citizens at some point in time - they must be deported.

Balderdash. They shouldn’t be the recipients of Obamacare, just like citizens shouldn’t be the recipients of Obamacare. Abolish Obamacare!
The system is broken when non-citizens have more rights and protections than law-abiding citizens.

Who the hell needs this amnesty? These illegals will pay ZERO BACK TAXES! Lets get real here/ The Democrat strategy is to get 20 million of these critters legalized then never follow through on enforcement or taxes or anything that might impact illegal aliens. Just wait until they start bring in their families wives children illegally. They will be all set with their work legalization and will be welfare eligible too. Then they will smuggle in family members
Of course the courts will permit no equal-protection arguments in this particular matter.
Taxes? What taxes? Most of ‘em would probably qualify for Earned Income Tax Credits - which they CAN receive according to the obscene amnesty bill they are pushing in Congress.
Yep, and if this bill passes I don’t believe they’ll have to smuggle their relatives in, they can get them in legally.
