1—Rifles and shotguns legal, handguns banned on the mainland. Handguns legal in NI, as is concealed carry. Concealed carry is not permitted on the UK mainland, except in rare circumstances.
2-Far more than 50% dont carry. Most UK police and most British people dont want all police armed either. Our gun crime and gun death rates are still (contrary to myth) very low, so there is no need to for all to be armed.
