Clearly photoshopped. Obama never went to prom, he was too busy getting together with Larry Sinclair, pushing drugs for him, snorting cocaine, and engaging in homosexual activity.

In Chicago Obama represented drug gangs, which is why his client list, filed with the Illinois bar association has been suppressed.

Obama's head always looks large in these older pictures but he wore a large 'afro' hairdo back then and wears his hair very close-clipped now days.
I don't find anything suspicious in the Prom pictures. I am more apt to think the picture of him with the 'ten fingered' Paki to be a photoshopped picture. But - everyone loves that picture and 'wants' to believe it is real. I can't confirm anything, I just know what I see.
I still think the paki guy is holding an ashtray with that hand.
I wonder why it took so long before this picture surfaced?

When Obama became an overnight sensation during the first election, I kept waiting for a flood of pictures and stories from hundreds of people who *knew him when* as you would expect for someone who became and instant celebrity, but strangely there were very. very few pictures and stories.

Hi Fred, sorry for the slow reply. You know I haven’t followed the discussion on all of these pictures and I am unfamiliar with your thoughts of him holding an ashtray. I’ve tried to envision that but admit that I can’t, but you have probably seen much better ‘blow ups’ of that picture.
Photoshop is a wonderful thing, but it has also done a disservice to us by making everyone think that every picture they don’t like is a ‘madeup’ one. I’d imagine you might agree on that. I see people, who have never posted a single graphic [much less create one] instantly declare something as ‘photoshopped’. I’ve worked with graphics for years and am not good enough to immediately discern that.

I couldn't agree more. It irks me no end to read that every single image of Stanley Ann Dunham, for example, is a photoshopped construct and she never existed as a person. That's just a waste-paper-basket for lazy minds imo. Each image needs to be looked at in context to the myth; for example, the Central Park sequence, in which it's plain to see that zero was added, between the two people on the bench.
Why would they do that? I assume it could be because by that time in the early eighties, the relationship between the elder Dunhams and zero had broken down. That image was created for that reason.
Zero on the couch with Siddiqi has had so much written about it and I can't see why. I used to be a smoker. Where's the ashtray? He's holding it on his knee, with the hand that is holding the cigarette. A lot of time wasted on that one. Meanwhile, I wonder did anyone bother to note that Siddiqi, after saying that zero gave him a job referrence, is still shown as working for a Seattle theatre? Probably not. The holding-hands story got all the attention. How many hours were collectively spent on counting his fingers...
