Bob Dole Has Some Nerve
Breitbart.com ^ | 5/27/13 | Kerry Picket

Former Senate Majority Leader and 1996 GOP Presidential nominee Bob Dole excoriated the Republican Party on Fox News Sunday, saying the Party lacked new ideas and engaged in too much obstructionist activity in the upper chamber.

"They ought to put a sign on the National Committee doors that says 'Closed for repairs,' until New Year's Day next year and spend that time going over ideas and positive agendas," he said.

Additionally, Dole remarked that not only was he doubtful he could "make it" in today's Republican Party, but he believes Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon could not make it either in the current GOP, saying, "Reagan couldn't have made it. Certainly, Nixon couldn't have made it, because he had ideas. We might've made it, but I doubt it."

Bob Dole’s ideas of compromise are the reasons this country is on the edge
of collapse. The Bob Dole’s of the past and present have certainly compromised this once great country.

With the possible exceptions of Tom Dewey and Mitt Romney, the worst presidential candidate in GOP history.

Yeah, that's what we need: more people like Trent Lott in the Senate.

Bob...Bob Reactionary Who?

The truth is that the Tea Party Movement is eating the Republican Party RINOs alive.

In the age of the Cyberspace, everyone can hear you scream!

Most especially the dying RINOs :-)

LOL!!!

Turns out Liddy was the smarter one, but she was more to the left. Seems almost counterintuitive, doesn't it?

I have killed many Mexicans; I do not know how many, for frequently I did not count them...

*Welcome to the Tea Party, Mr. Geronimo, glad to have you...

and spend that time going over ideas and positive agendas

I think that means thinking up new Gov't entitlement programs. No wonder this country is screwed. The Republicans are just the accounting arm of the Democrat Party - spend money, just not quite so fast.

His service to our country opened many doors for him.
He was a hero, no doubt about that and his work with veterans to this very day is stellar.

And, today, McCain pays an undercover visit to Syria...

Meaning that a.) the Saudis still own him and b.) we can soon expect McCain to start pimping for U.S. military intervention in Syria...for "humanitarian" purposes.

Gotta say, even though I voted for him, I'm glad he was never POTUS. The alternative, however, has been even worse...

“Reagan couldn't have made it. Certainly, Nixon couldn't have made it, because he had ideas. We might’ve made it, but I doubt it.”

The Republicans need someone like Ronald Reagan. Conservative Republicans like Cruz are very much like Ronald Reagan. Dole has nothing in common with Reagan. Bob Dole never had Reagan's leadership ability and he certainly never followed Reagan's 11th commandment. McCain and Romney are Dole style Republicans.

McCain was THE worst in the current era. Romney was better than McCain, and by a long shot. Dole and McCain are both as bad as it got. I like Dole, at least, despite his weaknesses. Not sure I would bother getting a bucket of water if McCain was on fire.

Bob Dole was better than John McCain, by a far cry.

At least, he would've signed conservative legislation -- something that McCain would never have done.

Bob Dole circa 1996:

Listing a string of questionable practices by the Administration, including accepting what he called laundered cash from foreigners and obtaining confidential F.B.I. files, Mr. Dole demanded repeatedly in Houston earlier in the day, ''Where is the outrage?''

Appearing at downtown performing arts center, where he stood before a giant mural depicting the glory days of the Lone Star State, Mr. Dole continued: ''Can you imagine former President Bush doing one of those things? No! And you never imagine Bob Dole doing one of those things either. So where's the outrage? Where's the outrage? When will the voters start to focus?''

At another point he asked: ''When do the American people rise up and say, 'Forget the media in America! We're going to make up our minds! You're not going to make up our minds!' This is about saving our country!''

Isn’t interesting that no one would give a royal hoot what Bob Dole has to say... unless he is bashing the Conservatives. I don’t respect him or JOhn McCain or George Bush 1 (or 2), or any of the ones who had no choice but to serve in WW2 so that now they can take the country down the tubes and into the NWO. They are all SELL-OUTS!

Bob Dole needs to STFU. He was a RINO, is still a RINO and could never even polish the shoes of Reagan.
