Too many people who lean left would rather crack nasty jokes than actually be liberal and listen to other views.
Why is it that liberals feel no qualms about being rude? Far too many people who are perfectly polite and courteous, otherwise, think nothing of insulting you for not sharing their political opinions. They look at us with disdain, thinking we're unenlightened conservatives and never hesitating to say so.
As the lone conservative at the tennis courts, I cringe at the Sarah Palin jokes and the jabs at Mormons. When news came on 9/11 that planes had struck the World Trade Center, my partner commented that Bush would use it as an excuse to increase military spending. Bush, of course, is dumb – as are all Republicans, and we're epitomized by Dan Quayle, whose spelling of "potatoe" has entered historical canon. (Never mind Obama's telling us there are 57 states, or having a meltdown without a teleprompter) And now it's Marco Rubio, caught drinking water. "Next time he'll forget to zip his fly," joked one of the guys. Mitt Romney changes his mind more often than he changes his underwear. Reagan had Alzheimer's when he made B movies, and Bonzo had to feed him his lines. And would you believe, from a guy with a pathetic serve, this comment about the Clarence Thomas, justice of the supreme court: send him back to the plantation.
Liberals have no shame. A dinner guest in our home stood up at the table, clinked his wine glass and said, "It shows how stupid the American people are, they voted for Bush twice." The left are haters and unable to embrace and celebrate diversity.
They also think they are morally superior.
This is why I intentionally do not have any liberal friends. They ALL are arrogant ***holes of very little intelligence, IMHO.
Because they have never been smacked down by their moms and dads (or parental units in modern jargon) nor by us on the right.
In other words, they are empowered spoiled pencil dick’d brats. (not that I have an opinion).
I no longer hold my tongue when in public and I hear/over hear libs trashing my people. The war is on, as far as I’m concerned.
Time to get a new circle of acquaintances.

Find an honest, educated, aware and engaged liberal, and you will get the classic answer...

The Internet has helped them connect with other like minded nutjobs, emboldening them to speak like that.
Also, they think arrogance is synonymous with superiority.
They believe they know better, but can’t explain why this is. So they insult. They have nothing else.
They claim they’re spiritual but their actions prove otherwise.
Because we don’t kill them.
Let them go to the mideast and behave toward islam the way they behave toward Christians here and I’ll be impressed.
Thankfully Bill Clinton brought us an end to the politics of personal destruction.
Nancy Pelosi has brought us the most ethical Congress ever, as promised.
And Barack Obama has found a third way to politics, one free of attacks and harsh rhetoric.

All you have to do is punch a bully once. I learned that in 6th grade. I gut punched him who was 2" taller than me and a serious bully.

I think rudeness and liberalism are related somehow.
I actually have met or known of a few polite ones but they are in the minority.
The author is addressing an audience who have no concept of their rude manners, mistaking it for cultural wit.
They hate our morality.
We must like homosexuals because some of their friends are gay.
We must agree with their views because their favorite celebrity tells them what to think.
We love the Lord which makes us Bible beaters and nut cases in their eyes.
They are shocked we are fighting back. According to their world view we are to lay down and let them walk on us.
According to them we hate abortion, so therefore we hate women. Not a care from them that they are committing murder.
We refuse to supply them with birth control so they can be as immoral as they want to be.
I could care less what these liberal fools think. I don’t waste my time arguing with ignorant hypocrits.
Because they’re not liberals. They just claim to be to guilt-trip others into tolerating their intolerable behavior.
