Sen. Mark Warner (D)asks Virginians to demand the Supreme Ct. allow homosexual marriage
From a Warner email

Posted on 05/28/2013 7:49:21 AM PDT by Gopher Broke

Friend --

Last week, Senator Warner emailed you in order to solicit your help in the fight for marriage equality, and I wanted to follow up real quick.

The Supreme Court is currently deliberating on the constitutionality of DOMA, a discriminatory federal law that that denies same-sex couples legal rights like access to their spouse’s Social Security and insurance survivor benefits. As Senator Warner said, “That’s just wrong. All married couples should be entitled to the same legal rights – regardless of sexual orientation.”

It’s critical we make our voices heard before the Court issues its ruling in June.

Will you join Mark Warner and demand the Supreme Court strike down DOMA by signing the petition?

Thank you for all your help,

Jenny Nadicksbernd

Marriage equality, eh? So, when do the polygamists, pedos, and consanguinists get hitched? Heck, when do the necrophiliacs get their turn (ya know, in the name of equality)?

that’s the whole point—I don’t want the SCOTUS making a decision on this issue. I want it decided by the legislature. So, if your state legislator votes for same sex marriage and you’re so opposed to it, then you can vote against that legislator. We have no say against the Supreme Court.

And, this is classic liberal horse-blank, in wanting courts to legislate from the bench.

It is not the job of courts to strike down laws and impose homosexual marriage, or any other particular policy for that matter. Their job is to rule as to whether laws are constitutional or unconstitutional, not decide whether a policy preferred by the liberals should come out of a court ruling in a certain manner.

Not true. Jefferson and Madison believed in states right to nullify. The problem is the states don’t have the courage to tell the monster Fed, that THEY created, to go to blazes.

But we ARE making our voices heard, and we are saying loud and clear that marriage is the union of one man and one woman.

Nobody can change that — not Liberace, not the Cannes Film Festival, not one of Elizabeth Taylor's many ex-husbands, not the Episcopal Church, not even the Supreme Court. God established marriage, and nothing mankind does will alter His plan.

Right there in the Constitution it says that mentally sick men have the right to sodomize other men.

Doesn’t it?

Maybe only democrats can read the secret passages with their magic decoder rings.

well if a court decision is anything like Roe v. Wade was written (even many liberals believe it was badly written)then you can forget the looking to the SCOTUS for good solid instruction “on how” such and such a law is constitutional or not. Roe v. Wade language with all the BS about emanations and penumbras-—eeeeek!

You’re welcome. Jefferson and Madison felt very strongly about the Fed over-riding the states and an all powerful Supreme Court. It’s what they feared.

Didn’t he write a novel with a pornographic scene about a Vietnamese man felating his young son? Queer Senator.

“Demand the Supreme Court”.

Somehow this dipch!t legislator doesn’t understand how the three branches of government operate or how sexual anatomy works for that matter.

The complexities of civilization, the institution of marriage, the “family unit”, etc fall far beyond his comprehension skills.

Dear Lord, PLEASE Give these reprobates their just reward.
And please do it quickly.

Those who support homosexuals are against our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
These anti Christ people only bring destruction on us ALL.
I have NO sympathy for homosexuals!

Homosexuality is a "Mark" of disobedience.
Someone once asked The answer is in the definition of "REPROBATE". And the reason"why" is given in the Bible.

God has a cure for homosexuals.

And if you speak out against homosexual marriage, expect a visit from the gay police.
