caseym54 - "This is Pavlovian conditioning, where the sight of anything gun-shaped or even gun-reminiscent gets kids in trouble. The object is to instill an unreasoning fear of guns. Its quite deliberate."
JohnC - "Thinking long term here
Teach children to hate firearms. Reward them for telling on any classmate who pretends his hand is a gun or brings a tiny Lego sized gun to school. Convince them that firearms are evil. Condition them to wet themselves at the very thought of guns.
As they move into higher grades convince them to tell their parents that theyre scared of the guns in their homes. Have them write plays about how wrong it is to own a gun. Have them sign petitions to register all firearms. Hook them up with political organizations whose leaders are looking for the next generation of anti-gun activists.
Our children are being groomed to be the generation that repeals the Second Amendment."
Washington Examiner, 1995 -
“Eric Holder, now Obamas attorney general, proposed using various levers of media and pop culture to attach a social stigma to guns, just as smoking has been stigmatized in recent decades.
One thing that I think is clear with young people and with adults as well, is that we just have to be repetitive about this, Holder told the Womens National Democratic Club while discussing how to curb gun violence in D.C. Its not enough to simply have a catchy ad on a Monday and then only do it every Monday. We need to do this every day of the week and just really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way.
To that end, he called for the creative community those ad agencies that create these snappy ads and make me buy things that I dont really need to focus on convincing young people that its not acceptable, its not hip to carry a gun anymore. He emphasized that newspapers and television need to devote prime space to these ads.
Holder also called for people who have influence over youngsters, entertainers, athletes, to be involved in this program as well
Excellent points.
This kind of thing (in combination with other serious issues in this country) could make you think it’s all over but the crying.
that’s why they call ‘em “MASSholes”
Keep shooting, boys!
As a kid - I remember bringing my Star Wars figures with plastic blasters to school with me to play out on the playground...by the time I was in 6th grade - my history teacher taught us about the classical battles - we even dressed up as Greek and Roman soldiers - complete with homemade weapons!
I also learned in that history class how intolerant the Nazi Regime was...and how they criminalized everything - burned books - and controlled media...uhm...something looks very familiar right now...funny thing, history - not as boring as one would think when one steps back to look at the BIG PICTURE...

The one who should be punished is the kid who told the driver...isn’t that the equivalent to “yelling fire in a crowded theater” when there is none? But, oh yeah - it is Mass. Thank God I’ve lived in TX or OK most of my life.
We have a few pieces in our home now, but we didn’t when the kids were growing up - mostly because we couldn’t afford them at that time. All of my kids have a healthy understanding of firearms...what they’re for and what they can do. My son owns several and is on his way to getting a CCP. Both of his sisters are just as capable.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
folking lunatics in charge
Until parents fight this stupidity from the first moment, this will not end.
Find the original objector and publicly humiliate them for their abject stupidity.
Do this at each step along the way and DO NOT COWAR!!!
“She said he caused quite a disturbance on the bus and that the children were traumatized, said Crane.”
Welp, it looks like we are in the last generation of this great experiment called “America.”
“She [the principal] looked at the tape...”
These are liberal Rambos who will supposedly go door-to-door collecting weapons. Stick a GI Joe plastic rifle up their nose, and they’ll go away happy.

You know this is part of their gameplan..
The conditioning continues. You're "excited" when your "masters" choose not to punish you for something that never should have been an issue.
A co-worker’s kid has gotten into serious trouble using his index finger as a gun at school.
An entire ‘team’ of various counselors has been assigned to his case, monthly progress meetings are held, etc.
