BREAKING: CA Senate Votes to Ban All Semi-Automatic Rifles With Detachable Magazines
The Truth About Guns.com | 29 May 2013 | Robert Farago

Posted on 05/30/2013 3:51:28 PM PDT by Windflier

After Connecticut upped the anti ante, The Golden State Senate is doing its level best to reclaim its title as America’s number one slave state. To that end, “The California Senate on Wednesday approved a package of seven gun control bills, including background checks for people who buy ammunition, introduced in response to the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.” Well, the latimes.com would say that wouldn’t they? Not to mention burying the big kahuna in the tenth paragraph. “The Senate also approved a bill that would outlaw the sale, purchase and manufacture in California of semiautomatic rifles that can accept detachable magazines. SB 374 also would require those who own such weapons to register them with the state.” Welcome back my friends to the nightmare that never ends. More details in the morning.

Democrats are going to cause themselves the worst beating in 2014/16 they’ve ever seen.

No, they won't. Are you forgetting that the high density population centers such as LA, Sacramento and San Fransicko are what put these traitors into office in the first place?

Your statement is what we said when they made the drop safety test for handguns law. The AWB law. The Barrett 50 ban law.

This is what the majority of voting kommiefornians want.

Yeah. I think it has to pass another House, too. I have no doubt both will sign on with remarkable glee.

I once made a statement hoping the "big one" would hit and that California would slide off into the ocean, never to bother this country again. Boy, was I attacked by the resident Californicates here........

That state is lost and how any of their residents here can still support it is beyond me...........

People pass laws against that which they fear. The Third World trash that has captured our California government is frightened of a backlash and they are terrified of modern weapons in the hands of people not from the Third World. Those in California government know they are treading upon us. They will move heaven and earth to confiscate any and all guns. That is their goal up the road.

Nah, not these people. They're just flexing their communist muscle, thanx to the dope heads, fags and wetback (as in, "Operation Wetback", a federal operation back when America was still great) voters in LA, San Fran and Sacramento.

Moonbeam told them this was the first time they've had a dimocRAT supermajority. Take it for a spin, etc. They're just trying to see how far into communist china they can drive before they see a stop sign.

I’m speaking on a national level> CA is far gone...but nationally what happens in CA will resonate in other states. Who wants a Moonbeam and Feinstein in their state after watching how they’ve been trying to ban guns...confiscate...and tear apart the Constitution. What’s happening now in CO, the backlash...watch. The Democrats over-reaching is a huge miscalculation of the American’s love for their guns and their Bill of Rights.

I used to live there. I loved that state. Camping and fishing in the Sierras. Couple hours from the ocean. Couple hours from the mountains.

I used to think I'd move back. No more.

My Winchester lever action holds 21 long rifle shells. No clip involved. There is a semi auto with the same type of feed.
The lever action can prob can be fired almost as fast as a semi auto!
If I would need more than 21 shells to do what is required I would need to give up the project!

Doesn't the governor (moonbeam brown) have to sign them into law?

I think they have to pass in the Assembly before they go to the Gov's desk for signature. We'll see how that goes. Some members are from pro-gun rural areas.

Jerry Brown...you sign these...you will be responsible for your parties national suicide and the Tea Party will be there holding signs with your face on it.

Are you kidding? This was a state filled with socialists who knew full well what he stood for and elected him! THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT!

Nobody in the rest of this country gives a rats butt what California does........

I certainly hope you’re right. But states like Oregon and Colorado have allowed themselves to become infested with refugee kalifornians. I don’t know if they’ll heed the warning.

What stupidity and evil. That would make most hunting rifles illegal, including the Remington 700.

There is another claim down the liberal toilet of truth about the 2nd amendment and hunting.

One more reason to leave this damn state. I really wish I had not been born in this freaky state. It is now a state that is owned by and for Asians. Soon as my 93 year old uncle gets out of California one way I am packing and driving out the other way.

That's because you short-sighted yahoos never get it: what is happening here is already happening in your states, too. Most of you are holding on to conservative majorities only by 3 or 4 points. That can change virtually overnight. So while you sit there and smugly congratulate yourself for being so "smart" as to live in a red state, and you tell yourself that this could never happen where you live, you might literally wake up tomorrow and find yourself smack-dab in the middle of a blue area. Then how smug will you feel? Are you going to go looking for a place to run, then? Look what happened to Colorado. It was deep red in 2004.

You seriously need to rethink that. The more screwed up that (absolute stinking sewer of a) state becomes, the more kalifornians flee to other, formerly good, states.

They've already destroyed Oregon, Washington, Colorado, New Mexico, etc. Not to mention cities like Austin, Tulsa, etc.

We should care very much what happens there.

Also, other well established commie states like Connecticut and New York all seem to be in a contest to see which state can violate the Constitution the most. Kalifornistan has just upped the ante.
