Excellent!
Under a fresh, new, right-wing Conservative administration Sheriff Joe would make a marvelous Attorney General.

His November re-election race marked the second-closest contest in his 20-year political career. He beat the closest candidate by 6 percentage points.Gotta love the propogandizing AP. Do you suppose they would ever mention that Barky won re-election by less than 4 percentage points over the closest candidate?

We’ve seen the recall people at a couple different events trying to collect signatures. Mostly, they were ignored. We saw almost no one signing, so this news doesn’t surprise me at all.
I’m not a fan of Joe Arpaio, due to personal interactions we have had with Arpaio and his deputies. That’s part of why we no longer live in Maricopa County. However, I do agree with several of his stances on big issues and he was elected “fair and square”. I’m very happy the recall effort failed.

I would have loved to set up a table alongside of them saying “Sign the Arapio recall petition - and - sign up to get off of welfare.”
I doubt that I would have gotten any signers, but it would have made a point.
Then again, I might have been in trampled if the sign was misread as “sign ON to welfare”.

Local news here in Dallas did a puff piece on an Illegal Woman here who admits to swimming
across the river 20-years ago. She was complaining that her $250 a month isn't enough to feed her
Seven Children! And the story commentator outlined that she DESERVED Free housing, Food, Cash,
and Medical. And after thirty days she had only $9 left to feed her children with.
I tried to understand what the story was about and realized it was about telling Taxpayers
so basically go Screw themselves because illegals deserved their money along with their anchor babies.

This an AP story so by FR rules I can't say more than HA-HA-HA-HLast I heard, AP stories could be posted. Use a SHORT excerpt, no more than 100 words.
FWIW, I have posted AP stories w/out a problem.
