With Bachmann not running, Jim Graves pulls out of 6th District race

As of today, Jim Graves is going to indefinitely suspend his campaign for Congress from the 6th District.

Translation: He is not running. He is dropping out of politics to concentrate on his family and his business.

It seems that liberals hardly ever wish to accept democratic procedures if such procedures are likely to go against them. The true measure should be what the public decide at the ballot box. True, even this procedure can be subverted by certain entities (mostly the liberals). This subversion is cheating at the ballot box, false poll results, rumours and smears.

Even with all their sleazy undemocratic machinations, they still want to wipe out anyone they oppose by mobocracy. The battle goes on in Toronto, Canada, with a beleaguered Mayor Rob Ford being hit with everything but the kitchen sink. Liberals are absolutely everywhere, different country, same rotten tactics. I am not, of course, comparing the excellent woman legislator who is the subject of this post, with Mayor Ford. I am drawing a conclusion as to the use of any method, but the right one- the ballot box.

His Campaign was terrible, but he’s the real deal & has significant knowledge.

“I heard a Dem strategist talking about Bachmann’s announcement. She said, when a politician announces this early that they are pulling out, it basically means that they know they can’t win. I wonder if she would say the same thing about Graves.”

I sure would.

He was counting on being able to run against her - she’s a liability, even in her district. Her stepping aside means we can find a good candidate, and he won’t have a chance.

No. Nancy Pelosi told him he had to run, but now that Bachmann's folded up under the heat, Pelosi will send the guy's kids back and he can get on with his life.

Be interesting to watch this race this fall .... like the other FRiends, I'd be interested to see if Michele could "anoint" another conservative to replace her and really torque the Red Witch off.
