“With all due respect, Senator, I don’t think this is an appropriate setting for me to discuss [this issue],” Holder replied during a Senate Appropriations Subcommittee hearing when Sen. Mark Kirk, R-Ill., asked if the executive branch was conducting surveillance that would give “unique leverage” over lawmakers.
Kirk replied that “the correct answer would be no, we stayed within our lane, and we did not spy on Members of Congress.”
Holder assured Kirk that “there is no intention to do anything of that nature — that is, to spy on Members of Congress or to spy on the Supreme Court.”

uhhh....Holder brought up “spying on the Supreme Court” on his own as part of his sort-of denial. Sure does make one wonder about Roberts’ nation-destroying vote for Obamacare, doesn’t it?
Yes, my point, could be the spooks are about to leak more information that will point to this and both Kirk, the dem plant, and Holder are trying to get ahead of it just like the IRS press confrence.
Is there a connection between this IRS, monitoring phone calls and the admitted tapping of McConnels office phone in the Senate Office Bldg? It fits.
I would take this answer as a “yes”, the DOJ is spying on members of Conress and the US Supreme Court. This would also offer an Occam’s Razor explanation for Justice Roberts otherwise unexpected vote to uphold Obozocare. It may also provide some fodder to guess why idiots such as Boehner, Cantor and McConnell maintain complete silence as the many unconstitutional, treasonous, impeachable offenses multiply. Of course, they’d have to be dirty enough to provide blackmail material, but that’s hardly a surprise with any of the lot of them.
This would absolutely explain the lack of willingness of any of our so called “representatives” to actively take on anything this administration has been involved in. Our government has been completely compromised IMO.
Kirk had a “wait a minute...this could be US!” moment that they normally prevent legislatively, like with Obamacare. Now that he could be part of the violation of rights, it matters to him.

To be fair, Kirk did mention SCOTUS in a question... I think he asked if they were involved?...When I heard it, it didn’t make sense. Kirk doesn’t come across as too bright, IMO... I was spacing out at the time and didn’t write it down though...
You can bet that since Kirk asked this specific question, he already knows what the answer should be. And now Holder knows he knows.
