all so they can stay employed and reap the perks and benefits of ‘information’ they are privy to in order to retire wealthy.
_____________

Exactly the topic of conversation my husband and I were having tonight as we prepared supper. WHY do our elected representatives “deserve” to be elitist? They are supposed to be US. History does indeed repeat itself...

Rather like the Mormon Corporation, though they call themselves a church.

FYI, able partner of the CIA.

>> Oh cripes, do you really think a program like this operates with Congressional approval? Really?

Yes. Never underestimate political protocol.

Petraeus, Roberts, Bohner, on and on...

Conspiracy theories exist because there are conspiracies...

IRS, Homeland Security, FBI, NSA, TSA - not friends of America or what America is supposed to stand for!

For every one of the above there is a better way....flat tax and no IRS, use the Israeli model instead of TSA, jettison Obamacare and Obama too.

Finally, get new agency with a mission to PROTECT THE BILL OF RIGHTS!!!!

>>Oh, good grief! Now McCain is blaming Bush for it,,,AND defending obama doing it!<<

I suspect there is a LOT of blackmail involved here.

And the targets of the blackmail don’t have enough honor to stand up to it. They would rather their country go down in flames than their own careers.

Former Congressman Curt Weldon back in 2002 was right I guess about this data mining,he claimed it would have prevented 9/11 if we had a program to mine open source information.
Unfortunately he was targeted by the left and was defeated

If they aren't sufficiently concerned about terrorist bombers to act on information that was handed to them on a silver platter, it's absurd to think that they're sufficiently motivated to build this infrastructure to ferret them out. So... what is it for?

My guess would be those potential "terrorists" enumerated in that DHA memo that Napolitano (unconvincingly) disavowed as a "mistake" (no doubt by a low-level employee) -- IIRC, those would be military veterans, pro-lifers, Second Amendment supporters, pick-up truck drivers . . . were there more? I'm pretty sure ROP was conspicuous by its absence from the list!

Never thought I’d live to see this. I guess I should take some consolation in the fact that the NY Slimes has woken up, along with Huffington, but most of America is still asleep.

The executive branch’s declaration of war against the other branches of govt and the American people is just another news story.

Well it's not something deserved...they have all the ‘information’ and access to that we are not privy to for investments etc. , real estate, business etc...and this on an International scale...and no doubt they barter this to friends and other investors for various reasons which will benefit each. ....type of inside trading, if you will, and despite the laws....it's a matter of not getting caught, and there's enough gov. systems in place to scrub any tracks leading to them...as well as tactics. So by the time we catch up and go thru the layers...they've already moved their wealth and as much been provided with protection in one form or another. Politics is a win win even when they loose...just being in the loop is all one needs.

I’m sure that you can added Comcast/Infinity to that list.

About a month ago 3 things started happening.

1. Comcast/Infinity uses Google as its main search engine. Google has eaten up the memory on my computer and my back up portable Toshiba hard disc.

2. Whenever I tried to send a cartoon or enhanced picture of Herr Obozo, it appears on my screen and my recipients get the little green square showing the picture didn’t go through. That is the only time that happens.

3. In the past week or so, whenever I use Google to do a search on anything done by Obozo or his thugs. My screen and computer freeze up, and I have to do the old control/alt/delete to get out of the search.

3. When
