BET has announced they will be airing a special entitled Justice for Trayvon: Our Son is Your Son on June 7. The half-hour special will feature exclusive interviews with key players of the trial, journalists and celebrity supporters, according to the Wall Street Journal. News journalist Emmett Miller will be hosting.
Last year’s death of 17 year-old Trayvon Martin sparked controversy over racial profiling and violence. Although he was unarmed, he was shot and killed by 28 year-old George Zimmerman, who was a self-appointed neighborhood watch volunteer according to CNN.
The official BET website reported Zimmerman was not a member of a registered neighborhood watch group, according to ABC News. “He also violated basic neighborhood watch guidelines by carrying a weapon.” Zimmerman claimed self-defense after shooting and killing Martin. Now, over a year later, the trial involving Zimmerman and Martin is still going on. Zimmerman is being accused of second-degree murder.
In addition to the racial profiling issue, this murder has also brought the “Stand Your Ground” laws to attention. Actor Jamie Foxx has voiced his concern over these laws to BET in an interview, stating, “I think that rule or that law needs to be addressed… That’s a slippery slope for people to have that type of power.” Justice for Trayvon will report the latest developments as well as all evidence involving the trial up to this point “through engaging interviews with the attorneys, analysts and supporters,” reports Indiewire.

This is the reason for this farce. The elites don’t want people to defend themselves from the various savage tribes they are mustering to kill us. The elites want us to hesitate to use our right to self-defense when a mob of animals threaten our families. That’s where all this is heading.
The elites are terrified of armed and highly trained individuals. What they fear even more is those armed citizens organizing and going after the elites. That’s what happened in Libya during the 2011 civil war, and it scared the crap out of the elites.
Contrary to what is heard in the popular media, citizen militias in the provinces joined up with military deserters to annihilate the elite mercenary army that Qaddhafi had in reserve to keep him in power.
Elitist power brokers were taken into the streets and hanged from lampposts. Qaddhafi’s elite pretorian guard was slaughtered. His foreign mercenary leadership disappeared from the face of the Earth.
These are all tools that the elite depends upon to survive in a crisis, and it fell apart and failed. This really, really scared elitists around the world. Hillary wanted to charge the Libyan people who killed the elitist apparatus with crimes against humanity. The elites wanted to teach a lesson to people who dare to challenge the elitist neo-fascist structure. That prosecution never happened.
The Zimmerman trial is an effort by the elitists to protect themselves by disarming us. They don’t want what happened in Libya repeating here or elsewhere. The elites are truly terrified.
There'd be riots in the streets if there was a Honky Entertainment Television, Caucasion Caucus, Lily White Miss America, National Association of White Folks, Cracker Colleges of America, etc. It's not just "Black Whatever Organization" but every group under the sun - Asian, Hispanic, Native American, etc. - but white. The minute you put race into your title, you're a racist.
I checked, BET doesn't have the episode or a short video of the show online. It will air again on the 9th.

I watched their new “After Dark” legal program a couple of times last week. The hosts seemed relatively unbiased, at least compared to much of what we hear!
For the first time ever, on television, I saw a big photo of Trayvon’s Arizona WATERMELON flavored fruit drink. And they actually said what it was! Not “iced tea”! Could hardly believe it!
They have an “in-studio jury”. It’s hung right now, although most of them have an anti-Zimmerman bias at this time.

Umm, did I miss something? They just started jury selection, but the trial is going on? I guess that’s one way to get “justice”. Have the trial before there’s a jury to hear the evidence.
The reason that Zimmerman used his gun was not that Trayvon was bashing his head against the cement, but that Trayvon got sight of the gun and was trying to grab it. It was a question of either shooting Trayvon or being shot by Trayvon.
How many times in the past 5 years has a Hispanic man killed a black man? Also, both men are democrats or come from democrat families... Does this really have the makings of a 24/7 media bash?
