More specifically; that 'gift' was given to Gordon Brown, who is legally blind.
You’ve misinterpreted. I was referring to the Whit McLeod bench posted by another FReeper, not the Presidential gift.
I note on the top of the back of the bench a memorial inscription of the event containing the name ....”Sunnyland Annenberg Estate”.....
What is it about “Annenberg” that causes me such anguish?
Something about “Commie” comes to mind.
Looks like a church pew. Athiests should be offended.
Oh my lord! Blind,eh.? Well A tactless insulting gift to give movies to a blind person. Creepers!
Yes, thank you.
After Brown presented Obama with a pen holder crafted from the timbers of the 19th century British warship HMS President (whose sister ship, HMS Resolute, provided the wood for the Oval Office's desk), Obama offered up ... 25 DVDs of American movie classics.M
"Oh, give me strength," wrote one appalled Daily Telegraph staffer. "We do have television and DVD stores on this side of the Atlantic."
I understand the HMS President was a ship used to fight the slave trade.
Essentially an empty chair....... how very fitting.
At least he didn’t give him a Verizon phone.
Pray for America to Wake Up
We had to expect our great KenyanIslamoCommie to insult the Brits, and Israelis. Part of his personal heritage.
But insulting the Commie Chinese? That must have been a mistake by Dear Leader, who otherwise espouses good Communist doctrine almost every day.
he’s slipping again, maybe he’s off his teleprompter again?
I imagine that a couple of whoopee cushions came along with it.

Oh, now we know what the Mooch was shopping for at Target a few weeks ago!
How can this Zer0 administration remain so tacky, even after Hitlery left the State Dept., as to give the head of the state of China a cheaply made bench.
He shoulda have at least asked J. F**in Kerry to get Theresa to donate a carton of Heinz Baked Beans, with Zer0’s signatures, to the holder of $7 trillion of our debt!
What a total putz a-hole!
Well it is a reflection of himself!
Thats beacuse they want you to have to buy a new one every 3 to 5 years
Sunnylands. Annenberg. Annenberg Foundation. Now it starts coming into focus. Still a cheap looking patio bench with exposed metal screws, bad proportions, stain that looks like a mistake and peculiar gaps in the slats. Not a quality piece, no matter from where it came.
Maybe give the King Commie a Smithfield ham.
Comm’on.
Don’t equate the pic in #15 to the piece of sh!t that Zer0 gave the Chinese.
Go back to the article, and see that the vertical slats on the gift totally differ from #15 bench! The gift was from “Target, as a DYI screw together $299.95 piece of junk!
