Rand Paul: Obama Administration Needs ‘Remedial Education’ on the Constitution
newsbusters.org ^ | 6 7 2013 | Noel Sheppard

Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) had some harsh words Thursday for the Obama administration collecting phone records of millions of Americans.

Speaking with Yahoo! News, Paul said, “I think it would be remedial education for those who are doing this. They need to go back and read the Constitution, read the Fourth Amendment, and understand that our records are private.”

Obama is supposedly a Constitutional Scholar.

Personally I believe his scholarship was mostly on Marx.

Or perhaps the USSR’s constitution. It’s got all those state-given rights and all (not a single one is a natural right that cannot be taken away and forget about God-given rights under a communist dictatorship with state-imposed atheism), and isn’t a charter of negative liberties (mostly). It even tells you what the government should do on your behalf . . .

It’s best if you not mention that scholarship stuff.

Who is Obamas Sverdlov? Jarrett?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yakov_Sverdlov

A close ally of Vladimir Lenin, Sverdlov played an important role in the controversial decisions to close down the Constituent Assembly and to sign the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk. It was claimed that Lenin provided the theories and Sverdlov made sure they worked. Later their relationship suffered as Lenin appeared to be too theoretical for practical Sverdlov.
He is sometimes referred to as the first head of state of the Soviet Union but this is not correct since the Soviet Union came into existence in 1922, three years after Sverdlov’s death. However, as chairman of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee (VTsIK) he was the de jure head of state of the Russian SFSR from shortly after the October Revolution until the time of his death.

No, not re-education. This man and his storm troopers know exactly what the Constitution says. They just don’t agree and choose to arrogantly and openly flaunt it. If they continue to get away with it, then they will then say to save the nation the constitution must be changed from an instrument which limits the govenment to one that gives the government limitless power - that is their goal.

I like Paul but this tells me even he doesn’t get it. Obama has not forgotten the Constitution-—he knows it very well and hates it.

Obama is supposedly a Constitutional Scholar. Personally I believe his scholarship was mostly on Marx.

Yeah. Bil Clinton was supposedly a Constitutional scholar, too. Here are four examples of what Clinton learned during his . . . um . . . Constitutional studies:

``If the personal freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution inhibit the government’s ability to govern the people, we should look to limit those guarantees.’’ -- President Bill Clinton, August 12, 1993

``The purpose of government is to reign in the rights of the people’’ –- Bill Clinton during an interview on MTV in 1993

``We can’t be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans…that we forget about reality.’’ -- President Bill Clinton, quoted in USA Today, March 11, 1993, Page 2A, ``NRA change: `Omnipotent to powerful’’’ by Debbie Howlett

“When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans, it was assumed that the Americans who had that freedom would use it responsibly… that they would work for the common good, as well as for the individual welfare… However, now there’s a lot of irresponsibility. And so a lot of people say there’s too much freedom. When personal freedom’s being abused, you have to move to limit it.” – Bill Clinton, April 19, 1995

Apparently, the only reason any Democrat studies the Constitution is to find loopholes around it.

Although finding loopholes would at least acknowledge that the Constitution has some legal legitimacy. Nowadays, Democrats openly assert that the Constitution is not legally binding at all. So they really don't need to bother to find loopholes anymore.

———to find loopholes around it-——

The procedure is to create plausible loopholes around it.

The loopholes need not to actually exist

Obama doesn’t need education on the Constitution. He and his horde know exactly what it says, what it keeps them from doing, and exactly how to undermine it. Make no mistake that these people don’t know anything about it. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

No, no they don't. What they and we need is not language like this... I like Rand, but we need a John Galt who is willing to say, “They are purposefully trying to destroy the Constitution”.

Time is passed for such language which does nothing to point out the purposeful malfeasance.

Love ya like a broth-ah Rand, but talk is cheap. Introduce legislation to abolish the IRS, NSA, DHS, TSA, EPA time and time again until something sticks.

Bammy-N-Boyz know about the Constitution. They prefer Alinsky and communism to the Founders and the Founding Documents.

Worse yet, Bammy prefers MadMo and the Koran.

They KNOW the Constitution. They know it well. But they despise it and are HELL BENT on making it completely irrelevant.

And succeeding quite well. They have half our population believing it’s not important.
