I just don't understand how John Zawahari could have allegedly shot and killed all those people at Santa Monica College last Friday. After all, not only is murder against the law, the city of Santa Monica has strict gun control laws as does the state of California. And also, according to its website, Santa Monica College is a gun free school.
Here's what it says in the website:

Weapons Prohibition on Campus
Possessions of firearms or replicas, ammunition, explosives, knives/blades longer than 21/2 inches, other weapons, or fireworks are against the law in the College community or at College -sponsored activities. California Penal Codes 626.9 and 626.10 also prohibit the possession of firearms (including pellet and BB guns) on College property without specific written permission of the Chief of Police.
If you are a witness to a crime involving a weapon, please call 9-1-1 immediately. If you see a weapon of any kind on campus, alert SMCPD by calling (310) 434-4300 or 9-1-1.

So when the law abiding gun free students and others heard the loud bangs and realized that there was "a crime involving a weapon" on their idyllic gun free campus they diligently called police. But, as the cliche has it, when seconds count the police were minutes away. And in the few minutes it took for the police to arrive, confront the alleged shooter Zawahari and ultimately kill him, Zawahari killed more while terrified thousands huddled defenselessly in closets and under desks. No one confronted him.

Aren’t they all? Never heard of a shooting at a gun show or gun store......everybody’s armed. What a concept eh?
The only person killed on campus was the shooter. He was shot by armed campus police.
The left deliberately leaves guns in the hands of violent criminals and takes them away from honest, law-abiding non-violent citizens.

Criminals aren’t likely to organize an American Revolution like 1775. God-fearing,hard-working, citizens tired of being crapped on just might.
Having schools being “gun free zones” is like having a hunting season at the city zoo.

GUN CONTROL KILLS.
Maybe they need to invest in larger, “Gun Free Zone” signs. Obviously the murderer didn’t realize that guns were banned on campus.
A big problem with a Gun Free Zone is after you park your car and start walking.
The law abiding citizen leaves their protection in the car and has very little or no protection against a larger, stronger and younger assailant.
Gun Free buildings or a campus can cause a Gun Free Zone to reach out for many blocks with on the street parking or parking lots that are distant from the entrances to the buildings.
All a Californo would have had to do is tap this swarthy young man on the shoulder, perhaps show him the COEXIST bumper sticker on her car, point out to him that what he’s doing is against the law—you know, ‘get in his face.’ Oh well.
