We aren’t communist?

We aren’t communist?

When the obvious is obvious, why is it that there are those who can’t seem to see the obvious? Strange metaphor is it not? That we in this nation have those who can’t see this obvious scenario that this nation is as communist as any that has ever been, or will ever be!

Perhaps it’s our identification of what we use as the yard stick to measure what is a communist government?

When we look at the definition of communism, it is obvious that it had never existed, will not ever exist, and cannot exist as it is defined. Communism is a revolutionary socialist movement to create a classless, moneyless and stateless social order structured upon common ownership of the means of production as well as a social, political and economic ideology that aims at establishing this order.

Is it not interesting that the failure of communism is defined in the very first identification of this ideology? Why is the word ‘revolutionary’ so prominent?

The answer is simple really—for in fact communism is based on the oldest of human actions—theft. This is the why it must be a revolution of taking that from a society that has productive capacity—as communism is not the ideology of the beginning…for it produces nothing…as the literate history of mankind has proven.

There is no more one need to know of communism. The basis of this dementia and the results are all based in this simple reality.

One thing about communism is that reality is never part of the evaluation. Take a moment to think of this; movement to create a classless, moneyless and stateless social order structured upon common ownership of the means of production as well as a social, political and economic ideology that aims at establishing this order.....

I asked for quotes from the Communist Manifesto itself, not from self-serving interpretations of it.

That link was just in the first couple of results. You will find many others with consistently similar "self-serving interpretations" regarding the similarities between the central tenets of Communism and American domestic policy during the last century plus. Many. Others.

That America has adopted several tenets of Communism is not really a very controversial thesis with the "classical liberal" or "Patriot" crowd, as far as I've seen. I'm surprised you're not aware of that.

You can go on believing that America hasn't adopted tons of Marxism. I'm sure that's very comforting. But it's pretty clear we have. You can make the argument that it's a watered down version, but to deny the similarities is absurd.

I'm sure it makes you feel like less of a slave that you've paid income tax your entire life, because, hey, at least it's not Communism! LOL!

the federal government has adopted several central planks of the Communist Manifesto

You are running all over the place making subtle accusations and assumptions about what I believe and think, all wrong, by the way. And I only replied to your assertion, quoted again above, and asked for quotes from the very Communist Manifesto (which I have read, thank you) to support your assertion. You've run away from it, because such quotes cannot be found there. That is all I asked for and don't care for all your other comments, wild fantasies, theories and whatever, neither agree nor disagree, they are totally beside the small point and request for evidence that I was making.

I never said that America would fall to the level of the previous Communism of the Soviet Union. I certainly do not expect the citizens to be fenced/walled in.
I do not expect gun towers for shooting those that try to escape. It will, however, easily become the United Socialist States of America. The life that we had in the past will fade away.
Fortunately, I have already escaped what America is becoming.

We are already more socialist than China. I’ve heard from a Chinese scholar whom I met and had long conversations with. He could not believe when I reported to him about the cradle to grave care given by our government - they have nothing of the sort in China. Obamafoams? Not in China, not in Cuba, certainly not in North Korea. We are a welfare state, with the government bigger and in some ways more intrusive than anywhere in the world now.

Sorry man, I don't find those accusations regarding America adopting tenets of Communism to be wild-eyed fabrications. Those who believe such a thing draw valid parallels between the theories Marx states in his own words, and the actual policy practices which have been adopted in America. The progressive income tax, at the very least.

Most patriots believe that America has adopted Communism in many ways. They base this on the evidence of their own eyes when compared with the beliefs of Marxists.

Personally, I believe it's inaccurate to try to reduce American domestic policy to simple "corporatism" or fascism. The Communism/Socialism/Marxism is there to be seen, and playing word games or ascribing it all to "self-serving interpretations" is either disingenuous or naive, IMHO.

The paradigm in the Patriot movement is that we are slipping further and further into the corrosive mobocratic abominations known as Marxism, Socialism, Communism, authoritarian collectivism, or whatever you'd like to call it. Calling it "corporatism" is far too oversimplified.

If you don't believe America has adopted much of Communism, you're at liberty to do so. But the patriot movement, by and large, may disagree with you. The fact that we've gone from approximately 0% Communist to "only" 65% Communist, or whatever, doesn't mean that we're not "trending" Communist.

We aren't at 100% Commie, fine, but there's no denying the trend...

Of course, and you have made my point.
I also contend that it will get much worse.
America has passed the point of no return.

The communists have convinced the witless that communism and democracy are mutually exclusive, when in fact, they work quite well together once a majority of the population votes to redistribute the wealth of a minority. Our Democratic Party is completely controlled by communists, as is our media and our educational systems. Obama is a communist. He knows it. I know it, and all but the hopelessly stupid of his apologists know it. He represents and reflects his party, and he will lead them to destroy the rest of us, any way they can.

We can still find toilet paper in the supermarkets, so we haven’t hit rock bottom just yet; but give Obama another three years.

Credibility with whom? Habitual Democrats?

But corporatism is form of authoritarian collectivism.

One may view corporatism as a heterodox form of Marxism.

I have a preference for the term “corporatism” because Mussolini’s fascism had strong nationalist elements. The corporatism we live under is transnational.

The key to the establishment of fascism in America was to to eliminate states rights and for FedGov™ be able to tax the people directly. The 16th and 17th amendments ere the fascist amendments....

Wage withholding is the most fascist thing I can think of. Hell they get it before you even touch it.

Corporations hate states rights and the republic, that is why the always cry for "we need a national law not 50 individual laws". Well that is crying for centralized fascism at it's core.
