There was a tournament a few years back in Norco, CA where the organizers provided hospitality tents throughout the course where the "ball girls" were extremely hospitable.

Unfortunately the cops shut them down.

Many courses in the south near the ocean have alligators and snakes in the roughs. That tends to discourage ball hunting..........
