Omar Abdelbadie, a 22-year-old neurobiology major and member of the dean's list, was arrested by Seattle police Monday night for investigation of raping a 12-year-old girl at his apartment near campus Sunday.
According to court documents, Abdelbadie first saw the girl walking on “The Ave” in the University District.
“He thought she was dressed provocatively," according to the police report. The victim told investigators she told Abdelbadie that she was 12 years old.
Abdelbadie then allegedly bought the girl marijuana, and according to court documents, they smoked it together at his apartment.
After smoking the joint, they engaged in sexual intercourse multiple times, the documents said.
According to Washington State law, sex between a 22-year-old and a 12-year-old is technically child rape in the second degree.
At Abdelbadie's bail hearing Tuesday, Michael Hogan of the King County Prosecutor's office said, "What we have is predatory behavior with a 12 year old."
Hogan asked Abdelbadie's bail be set at $100,000.
Public defender Maureen McKee argued that Abdelbadie be released on his own recognizance.
"He's a senior at the University of Washington on the cusp of graduating," McKee told the judge. "I believe he has exams still, and needs to complete a number of steps before he graduates."
In the end, the judge agreed with the state and imposed a bail of $100,000. Abdelbadie will have to post ten percent in order to get out of jail. If he does, he is not to have any contact with minors.
The judge called him "a risk to the community."
The next step will be the big house.
Oh, Omar hails from Egypt, where sexing up 12 year olds is probably the norm.

When it comes to 12 year old girls, Omar, you need to focus on your “neuro” not your “biology.”

The case of “Omar & The 12 Year Old” is proof that culture is determinative. Omar is a Gyppo, and the sorry excuse for a nation which produced him guaranteed a propensity for abuse of females of any age.

I’m thinking that given the “body part” used in this “theft,” that it should be the part amputated.
