Rubio: We need to legalize immigrants so they can pay for border security
Washington Examiner ^ | 6/13/13 | Byron York

Posted on 06/13/2013 8:16:55 PM PDT by Nachum

Why is it necessary to legalize the roughly 11 million currently-illegal immigrants in the U.S. before newly enhanced border security and internal enforcement measures are in place? Sen. Marco Rubio, the leading Republican on the Senate’s Gang of Eight, says part of the reason is that the federal government can’t afford to secure the border on its own and needs financial help from the immigrants themselves, in the form of fines paid when they are legalized.

Rubio made the statement during a radio interview after he voted against an amendment from Republican Sen. Charles Grassley that would have put off legalization until after the border is secure — a position supported by majorities of voters across the political spectrum. Host Andrea Tantaros asked Rubio why he opposed something that was important “to so many in the Republican party?”

No. Stupid people never realize how stupid they sound.
Rubio is just another hack who sees how things are going. The GOP is going to cave and now Rubio wants to be seen as supporting illegal immigrants to keep his job.
They are nothing more than whores.

I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that we don't have a two party system now....

Exactly. Border security is one of those things that pays for itself many times over. The notions that transforming millions of low-skill illegals into citizens (eligible for benefits) will be a net plus for the taxpayer is simply idiotic.

The woods are full of faux conservatives who talk a good game but eventually show their true colors. Beware of new comers in conservative clothing until they have track records lasting decades. Marco seems to be one out to help “his people” rather than the country as a whole or he is stupifyingly naive.

If Rubio thinks America will "make money" on amnesty he is crazy.

Or dumb, really, really dumb.

I really wonder what the NSA/Obama has on these guys. Do they really think we’re that stupid?

They want us to take all these things individually as if illegal immigration has nothing to do with unemployment or financial fraud or gangs or crime or political corruption, but they’re all part of a continuum.

Government is a monster:

http://abovethelaw.com/2013/06/horrifying-video-of-alleged-sexual-assault-while-family-court-judge-literally-looks-the-other-way/

The cop who sexually assaulted a woman (vulnerable/groomed) and then arrested her for reporting it is part of the IRS TEA Party abuse and that’s part of the Elian Gonzalez case and the Branch Davidian murders and all of it is about government abuse of power.

This has been going on for a century now and it’s finally boiling to the surface, just as we have the most liberal, brainwashed voting block in history.

Real Anti-Immigrant Bigotry—The real racists are not the Gringos, hombre
http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=21973

according to an official translation published by the Organization of American States, the Mexican constitution includes the following restrictions:

Pursuant to Article 33, “Foreigners may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country.”

Equal employment rights are denied to immigrants, even legal ones. Article 32: “Mexicans shall have priority over foreigners under equality of circumstances for all classes of concessions and for all employment, positions, or commissions of the Government in which the status of citizenship is not indispensable.”

Jobs for which Mexican citizenship is considered “indispensable” include, pursuant to Article 32, bans on foreigners, immigrants, and even naturalized citizens of Mexico serving as military officers, Mexican-flagged ship and airline crew, and chiefs of seaports and airports.

Article 55 denies immigrants the right to become federal lawmakers. A Mexican congressman or senator must be “a Mexican citizen by birth.”

Article 91 further stipulates that immigrants may never aspire to become cabinet officers as they are required to be Mexican by birth. Article 95 says the same about Supreme Court justices.

In accordance with Article 130, immigrants - even legal ones - may not become members of the clergy, either.

Article 27 states, “Only Mexicans by birth or naturalization and Mexican companies have the right to acquire ownership of lands, waters, and their appurtenances, or to obtain concessions for the exploitation of mines or of waters.”

Article 11 guarantees federal protection against “undesirable aliens resident in the country.” What is more, private individuals are authorized to make citizen’s arrests.

Article 16 states, “In cases of flagrante delicto, any person may arrest the offender and his accomplices, turning them over without delay to the nearest authorities.”

According to Article 33, “the Federal Executive shall have the exclusive power to compel any foreigner whose remaining he may deem inexpedient to abandon the national territory immediately and without the necessity of previous legal action.”

Rubio had the advantage of an even worse primary opponent than he is. FL, like CO and so many states now, always disappoints.

Even abortion was a bipartisan thing from the start, with “Republican” Harry Blackmun as the official author. Barry Goldwater, Nelson Rockefeller, John Tower, Richard Nixon were all abortion boosters early on.

Since legalizing the invading hordes will be a massive debit to the finances of the US, this is not going to work. He’s flat out lying.

how he fooled a whole room full of people

GA Jimmuh was good at that too; Lester Maddox, his lieutenant governor, called him the most deceitful man that he had ever met. Jody Powell said being called dishonest by Lester Maddox was like being called ugly by a frog. The American people believed in the "hope" of GA Jimmuh instead of the warning of Lester Maddox.

The illegals are, for the most part, here to take money and send it to their home countries, not invest it in our country. "Enviar dinero."

DING! DING! DING! We have a WINNER!

For the most part, they are hard working people, but they are NOT working hard to become or develop American attitudes and principles! They are working hard to send 80+% of their money back to their home countries - PERIOD!

This is the part that our politicians either don't see or don't WANT to see. If we offer them citizenship, there will be some that come out of the shadows - to LEGALLY get wel-fare, the others will continue to live as they already do - sending money back home and bringing America DOWN!

My mother-in-law, third generation Mexican-American, stated that the people coming here today are not interested in becoming Americans, they are interested in turning America into Mexico! And that is the BOLD FACED TRUTH of the matter!

I was about to say, our current “two party” system in much akin to an NFL team: there are two major parts (offense and defense), but trust me, if you get on the field, they are BOTH going to try to beat the crap out of you!
