The US has entered into a contract with a real estate firm to sell 56 buildings that currently house U.S. Post Offices. The government has decided it no longer needs these buildings, many of which are located on prime land in towns and cities across the country.
The sale of these properties will fetch billions of dollars and a handsome 6% commission to the company handling the sales. That company belongs to a man named Richard Blum. Who is Richard Blum you ask?
Why the husband of Senator Dianne Feinstein, that's who. What a bunch of crooks we have running this country!
Senator Feinstein and her husband, Richard Blum, stand to make a fortune. His firm, C.R. I., is the sole real estate company offering these properties for sale. Of course, C.R.I. will be making a 6% commission on the sale of each and every one of these postal properties.
All of these properties that are being sold are all fully paid for. They were purchased with U.S. taxpayers dollars, and they are allowed free and clear by the U.S.P.S. The only cost to keep them is the cost to actually keep the doors open and the heat and lights on. The United States Postal Service doesn't even have to pay property taxes on these subject properties. Would you sell your house just because you couldn't afford to pay the electric bill?
Well, the Post Office is.
How does a powerful U.S. Senator from San Francisco manage to get away with such a sweet deal?
A powerful United States Senator's husband is standing by, all ready to make millions from a U.S. taxpayer funded enterprise.
No one in the mainstream media is even raising an eyebrow over his 6% commission on the sale of hundreds of millions of dollar's worth of quasi-public assets.
Pass this info on before it's pulled from the internet.
True on Snopes:

I can see no useful purpose for the RINO laden Republicrat Party, but reserve my utmost contempt for the communist, baby-killing, homosexual hugging Progressive Socialist Democrat Party.
Come on Tea Party.........the time is NOW!
They love putting the C in DC - the District of Criminals.
Go to Snopes to read the whole grisly story! This woman and her husband thingy belong in the slammer! Wake up you stupid Republicans and for God's sake, DO SOMETHING!
I received this email a few weeks ago and was disgusted by this.
The link I gave in the article works. I just tried it.
Fineswine’s husband is also partners in the contractor that has been awarded the CA High Speed Rail project...even though they were deemed unqualified.
Such open corruption.
Silence from the greedy, career politicians, ON BOTH SIDES, in DC. They're all in this together.
< sarcasm >Hey, if you can’t use elective or appointive office to help out the family a little, what’s the point of it? < /sarcasm >
But the kali’s luv, luv, luv her and baba boxcar. The population centers, as usual, are so full of entitled, low/no info voters, that they aren’t going anywhere for any amount of funding by the opposition. Sad ain’t it. Same goes for hairy screed in NV. Vegas unions have him as a shoe in. They almost got another one in in the form of shelly berserkley this last election. Dean Heller just barely squeeked in. But, those of us who are somewhat informed will keep tryin’.
Dumb...Depressed...DecadentDependent...AND...Democrat...
Yup, this is the answer....BOTH sides! We have gotten where we are not much better than Mexico where bribes are the manner of getting just about anything.
In Texas the stimulus money is used mainly to make contractor’s rich and they pay wages to illegals. Try stopping along a road construction site and asking them anything...you get answered in Spawnish! Yup, that’s what we work so hard for while the ones who can work sit home with their Section 8 housing, EIB cards and Obama phones watching a huge TV with cheap or free cable we also pay for. It’s just a huge mess and we need to hit the restart button!
Just check Blum’s corporate emails to see if he mentioned contacting his wife regarding this contract.
We have a basilica in Milwaukee that was built from reclaimed materials from a US Post Office that had been condemed because the foundation cracked more than 100 years ago.
The Polish priest leading the Parish of St. Josephat dreamed of a larger church to house his growing congregation. It was a poor parish, but he went to the auction and bought the P.O. materials for cash and had them shipped to Milwaukee by barge (or rail). Then he hired an architect to design a church to use the materials he had already acquired. He used everything -- even to the door handles. To this day, one of the exterior doors sports a beautiful brass handle proudly displaying the crest of the United States of America. I'll bet you can't find another church in the land that can boast of that!
St. Josephat's celebrated its centennial about 15 years ago and underwent a renovation paid for by donations across the community, including municipal funds. In addition to housing a vibrant parish (now hispanic) it hosts the Miwaukee Symphone Orchestral and Chorus several times a year and other community events.
A shipment of stones arriving in Milwaukee.
Exterior
Interior. The interior columns are NOT marble -- they are faux painted wood. Much of this beautiful building was created with volunteer labor. The Feinstein-Blums ought to DONATE their services in selling these Post Offices in gratitude for all this nation has given them.
Why is that the sheeple never inquire as to the dealings and wheeling of Congressional spouses? The Feinstein and Boxer husbands (and families) have become mega-millionaires during their wives' tenure. Mr. Pelosi is worth a billion or two, and in fact almost got to grab the Presidio, the most valuable real estate on the Pacific Ocean.
Even Dirty Harry Reid has moved up to $100 Million, and the two Senabimbos from Maine? Their husbands have been raking in the swag for years. Maine being so poor, they have probably managed to grab a miserly $50 million or so, each.
RINOs? Ditto. Why do we think they are so hard to unseat? They love it, that's why, and it is enriching them beyond belief as long as they keep up the "hands across the aisle" boolshiite. There are so many ways! Pat Buchanan, one of my faves, glommed a cool $12 Million in election matching funds, and when the campaign was over they remained unspent. Guess who got'em all? Why Pat of course. Perfectly legal, too; a little racket worked by all candidates. Hell, Ralph Nader has been working that scam for years.
Miwaukee Symphone Orchestral and Chorus=Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra
I guess I got a little excited, posting all those pictures, and the fat fingers came out.
BTW, now we know who’s selling, who’s brokering, etc. Now we need to know who’s buying at knockdown prices and flipping primo location commercial property.
Care to venture any guesses? Hint: it ain’t you and it ain’t me. Another hint: The husband of a California Senator whose initials are FEINSTEIN has made hundreds of millions purchasing seized properties from your local sheriff and then flipping them back to the state for O say X10. Another trick: seized properties Blum buys have a mystrious way of turning into “environmentally sensitive” zones ... sold back tom the state for X20.
I’d like to call your attention to post #15 on this thread about the selling of unused post offices.
These are pictures of a beautiful Basilica in Milwaukee that was built from the materials from a condemned and dismantled US Post Office in Chicago more than 100 years ago. It was recently restored in honor of its 100 year anniversary, and the interior colors seem so bright after 100 years of candle smoke was cleaned off of it! I still love to go there. The acoustics are perfect.
My daughter’s vocal coach (who was from Italy) used to say that the Italian churches and opera houses did not need artificial amplification because the sound bounces off of the inside of the dome and that she needed to use the roof of her body’s “architecture” the same way!
Just practicing the ancient ways. Nothing to see here proles. Move along..........
