We should spend a lot of time and money to investigate and deport 94-year-old alleged Nazis, especially since we otherwise do a great job enforcing our immigration laws.

If the old feller is convicted, it will be a very short life sentence I bet.

The Justice Departments Nazi-hunting unitGood thing they are hunting for those dangerous, elderly Nazis and leaving the radical muslims alone.

The Associated Press reported that wartime documents and interviews with soldiers
I wonder just how many other aged 90+ soldiers were interviewed?

We should spend a lot of time and money to investigate and deport 94-year-old alleged Nazis, especially since we otherwise do a great job enforcing our immigration laws. I noted the same thing on a post yesterday. I'm amazed how AP and the DOJ were able to dig up allegations and documents on this guy - from 70 years ago. Nazism is a dead, non-existent threat today, yet these same Gov't/Media sources can not say a word about the threat from thousands of members of a very real and dangerous present religious-political sect operating today within our borders.

“The Justice Departments Nazi-hunting unit...”
Now, will this unit be disbanded once there is no chance that any World War II era Nazis are still alive?

This guy didn't 'lead' or 'order' squat, SS or otherwise. He was fricken Lieutenant, either a Untersturmführer (2nd Lt) , or at most a Obersturmführer (1st Lt).

Many scumbags on this thread arguing that justice has a time limit, I see.

Yes, we should spend time and money investigating and deporting Nazi scum. Cases like this send a message: commit the type of atrocities committed by the Nazi scum, and we will never, ever, ever leave you alone. Not if you’re caught right away, and not if you’re caught 70 years later. Never.
We should, of course, be consistent about that (Commie scum and terrorist scum come to mind). But, the fact that we’ve failed in that regard doesn’t mean we should fail here too.

Ever notice how much time is spent tracking down Nazi war criminals, yet Japanese war criminals are given a pass, even though the US Gov’t knows where they live.

Seems like now between him and Demjanjuk, they only care about going after non-German/Austrian Nazi war criminals......maybe because they also fought against their Soviet heroes.
