If I were in New Jersey, I would hide my head in shame.
Kean’s reelection victory in ‘85 was relatively shallow. He didn’t have the Senate (though it wasn’t up), and although the NJ GOP gained 14 seats in the Assembly for majority control, in 2 cycles (with Flim Flam Florio’s election in ‘89), those gains were completely wiped out. It took Florio to give the GOP commanding majorities (in ‘91, an astonishing 58R-22D Assembly lead), though the worthless RINOs Whitman and DiFrancesco pissed it all away.
Right now, it would take 9 seats in the Assembly to get a majority, which the NJ GOP hasn’t gotten since 1999. They need 5 in the Senate.
What Difference Does It Make!
There is no way in the world I would live in the liberal hellhole that Christie has spent his years making even worse than it used to be. I also would not even consider voting for Christie to turn my country into what he has made his state into.

“In the spirit of unity and healing” Hillary! will pick that prominent Republican, Chris Christie, as her running mate and announce that he will be put in charge of “commonsense gun control”, given his terrific record on that vital issue in NJ.
