Im beginning to think that there isnt a single politician, Pres. or anyone short of Jesus Christ Himself that will ever satisfy anyone on FR...and Im certain were He in charge wed still be reading all the negative remarks....anymore its endless on here. What we want and what we get is never going to be remotely satisifying.....people still bad mouth Bush and Reagan for crying out loud! Can hardly believe people are complaining about being spied on....my gosh its been going on for ever.....theyre just getting better at doing so... Perhaps it is the outright lies that the government stated that it is not, was not 'spying' on all of US, that gives people pause as to the motivation for 'spying'? One thing about Christ, better than gold, He never lied, course the masses still rejected Him.

“Im not in support of developed metadata, until there is a valid need.”
Define Valid Need? And who decides what is a Valid Need?
“We turn the NSA loose on everyone, and everyone is subject to blackmail. I dont think thats healthy.”
The problem with this is every law/policy/program can and (I’d say) has be abused.....
Example: R.I.C.O. designed to bring down organized crime and used every successfully against the Mafia. Then some clown decides to use it against Operation Rescue.
“In a slow burn terrorist threat, I support getting the warrant and developing information over time. No problem there. As a general rule, no recording unless a slow burn threat, or an imminent threat.”
Once again this is what they are doing.

(I'm not completely worthless. I can be used as a bad example.)

This will sound evasive, but I think it's easier to explain what isn't a valid need. Do we need to collect phone calls and data on 316 million U. S. Citizens? I think we can agree on that answer. If we need to capture this type of data on several million I'd be surprised.
We turn the NSA loose on everyone, and everyone is subject to blackmail. I dont think thats healthy.

I agree with this. So what we do is put our efforts into putting an end to this. We don't turn away from another abuse, like what the NSA is doing.
In a slow burn terrorist threat, I support getting the warrant and developing information over time. No problem there. As a general rule, no recording unless a slow burn threat, or an imminent threat.
Once again this is what they are doing.
If it's limited, and I am far from convinced that it is, then I have no problem with it.

She is just beginning to come to grips with the fact our nations leaders are operating on a different platue then where we are.....and it isnt about us...rather the Global Agenda moving fast now. There has been a fundamental shift in the relation of the people and the government; I made a brochure here.

Well your brochure pretty much covers it....but I don't call it a relationship between us and the government.....it's long past anything resembling a “relationship”....more like opposition....they consistently ‘oppose us.’
