All sorts of bad news in this CNN poll for Obama - a poll that has consistently shown the president's approval numbers better than almost any other pollster.
Obama's approval dropped 8 points in the last month. But some of the cross tabs should worry the White House:
President Barack Obama's approval rating dropped eight percentage points over the past month, to 45%, the president's lowest rating in more than a year and a half, according to a new national poll.
The poll indicates that for the first time in Obama's presidency, half of the public says they don't believe he is honest and trustworthy. And Americans are split on the controversial National Security Agency anti-terrorism program to record metadata on U.S. phone calls, but they support the NSA program that targets records of Internet usage by people in other countries. That doesn't mean they necessarily like what is going on: Just over six in 10 believe that government is so large and powerful that it threatens the rights and freedoms of ordinary Americans.
The president's approval rating stands at 45%, down from 53% in mid-May. And 54% say they disapprove of how Obama's handling his job, up nine points from last month. It's the first time in CNN polling since November 2011 that a majority of Americans have had a negative view of the president.
Fueling the president's drop is his standing with those under 30, down 17 points in a month. And more than 60% believe that the government is so big and powerful, it threatens our liberty.

I think it can go into the 20's if the message is right to the low information voters. They need to know that the reason Bambi increased the Obamaphone program was not to help them.
It was so even those that couldn't afford a phone was given one so the Government can track and spy on them. That way when NeroCare kicks in on Jan. of 14 they will know where to find you to make sure you pay up. Remember there are hiring 16-20 thousand new ARMED IRS agents to find you!

And because he’s “black,” he has a solid 12%, a third of those who would fall on their swords for him, in that “base.” If he weren’t “black,” he would most likely be 12% lower today than the numbers show. We are indeed seeing the “tyranny of the minority.” As someone here on FR remarked recently, “we should have picked our own cotton,” instead we are picking up the tab for “black fathers,” some of whom manage to have 22 children with 14 “egg carriers” and expect us to pay for all of it. I’m not a fan of illegal immigration, but my bet is that the vast majority of the illegal hispanics here actually work for a living as best they can.

I agree with your points. Obama doesn’t care about his ratings. He has pretty much completed his adjenda to change America. As long as he gets to golf, vacation and party with his scummy friends in the WH...he doesn’t care.

Bad news? Not facing any more elections. Obama don’t give a rat’s ass about this.

It’s beyond me that 40 percent strongly disagree on the Rasmussen? Should be much lower. He’s at -19. He should be at -24
