Call me easy to please but *this* upper middle class guy has found most of the $100/night hotel rooms he's stayed in to be completely adequate if not down right enjoyable.Yes,Europe's more expensive than the US so let's bump that up to $200/night.

I wouldn't stay in a $3,000/night hotel room if I was worth a billion dollars.I'd be *embarrassed* to engage in such frivolous excess.
