The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has authorized a three-year study to find out why some HIV-positive homosexual men in Kenya do not seek the free treatment that American taxpayers already are funding.
The study, which will cost U.S. taxpayers $228,147, seeks to encourage Kenyan homosexuals, including prostitutes, to avail themselves of the AIDS treatment known as antiretroviral therapy (ART)—and to continue taking it once they start. …
Researchers say they have worked with male prostitutes on the Kenyan coast since 2005 and have found “significant disparities” among people who seek treatment and continue with the therapy, partly due to “stigma and social isolation.” …

Well, this is a bunch of psychological hucksters all but guaranteed to find the usual excuses while grandly begging the question of causes and effects. The answer to this is not to embrace homosexuality as the next cause celebre. To the extent that the effect that social acceptance of homosexuality has been measured on how well homosexuals take care of themselves, it has been shown to be a starkly inverse relationship.
The best explanation is found in spirituality. Demons want these people to destroy themselves. That is why they will not avail themselves of remedies whether physical or spiritual.

The problem is why is the US spending money on Kenya?
It is worse than in the USA. The USA is less rife with demons... so far. At least, Washington DC must have 50% of America’s demons in it (kidding maybe, but perhaps true).
Meanwhile I was vacationing on the Blue Ridge Parkway this week and the grass was knee high up to the edge of the roadway from lack of mowing. A number of campgrounds, picnic areas and visitor centers were closed. The campground I stayed at had not been mowed and grass was growing in the many cracks in the asphalt of the roadways. We have money to do studies on Kenyans with HIV but we can’t afford to maintain our national parks. It is disgusting.
