WASHINGTON (CBS DC) A new poll finds that Wisconsin representative and 2012 vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan is the most popular politician among Republicans.
In a Gallup poll of recent GOP newsmakers being listed as 2016 presidential possibilities, Paul Ryan was given a 69 percent favorable rating among right-leaning U.S. adults. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio was also rated favorably, while Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was actually given a higher net favorable rating among Democrats than among Republicans.
After all, look how well Chrissie’s fart/sniff relationship with The Won has worked out for New Jersey storm victims.
Christie is
* pro-abortion
* pro-gay-marriage
* anti-gun
* pro-0dumbo
Any of the above would disqualify him in my book.
I said from the start that he would turn out to be another Christie Whitman. And not just the name. It’s just what New Jersey Republicans are.
Republicans only get elected governor in New Jersey when their Democrat predecessor screws up so badly that not even the NJ voters can ignore the corruption and incompetence.
Like Jon Corzine.
or Florio
Yes, but even NJ doesn’t really want him. Just shows how a “conservative” pandering to leftists gets nowhere. Let’s close the door on this jerk.
“Thirty-seven percent (37%) of Garden State voters would like to see a Christie campaign in 2016. However, a Rasmussen Reports statewide poll shows that 41% disagree and do not want him to run. Twenty-two percent (22%) are undecided.”
Ryan and Rubio are now making fatso look good, and that's pathetic.
God help us we are screwed.
Libs are determined to push Christie off on the Republican Party. Expect to see him on talk circuit, and on idiot TV like the Chris Matthews show. Christie will swoon from all the attention, right up until his Democrat buddies get what they want, and McCain him.
Exactly!...Just like they pushed McCain!
The only thing Democrats like more than a Democrat is a Republican who acts like a Democrat.
Well I’m shocked. :-)
Well, Christie has never debated Ted Cruz.
I rest my case!!!!
Bloomberg once ran as a Republican.
Chaffee was a “republican” too.
Im surprised he doesnt just jump ship and run on the Democrat ticket either as Prez or VP. He would draw away from the GOP moderates and add that to the Democrat voter tally (Generally the Dems almost always vote for their nominee no matter who it is unlike the GOP) to win the office.
Gotta love that Pic!
Oompa Loompa do-pa de- do
Please pass the Biscuits, I will take 2
Well sure. Dems support dems! In NYC and NJ a “Republican” is someone who only agrees with 99.5% of the dem platform. Less than 99% makes you a “home-grown terrorist.”
Ryan has be Romney-ized. His support of the Immigration bill and his lack of effort on the debt ceiling have shown he’s been turned.
Cruz is by far the best conservative leader that town has seen since Reagan.
