I heard him. Every time Levin would point out a flaw Ryan countered with 'I plan on offering a bill to fix that". Gimme a break. Just pass this bill & we'll take care of your concerns later.

The more I listen to these guys, the angrier I get.

Remember when we had the WETBACK program? The Good Ole days!!

From Wikipedia: Operation Wetback (1954): Implementation and tactics

Operation Wetback was a system of tactical control and cooperation within the U.S. Border Patrol and alongside the Mexican government.[30] Planning between the INS led by Gen. Joseph Swing and the Mexican government began in early 1954 while the program was formally announced in May 1954.[31] On May 17th, 1954 command teams of 12 Border Patrol agents, buses, planes, and temporary processing stations began locating, processing, and deporting Mexicans that had illegally entered the United States. 750 immigration and border patrol officers and investigators, 300 jeeps, cars and buses, and 7 airplanes were allocated for the operation.[32] Teams were focused on quick processing and deportation, as planes were able to coordinate ground efforts more quickly and increase mobility. [33] Those deported were handed off to Mexican officials, who in turn deported them into central Mexico where there were many labor opportunities.[34] While the operation would include the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago, its main targets were border areas in Texas and California. [35] Overall, there were 1,078,168 apprehensions made in the first year of Operation Wetback, with 170,000 being captured from May to July 1954.[36] The total number of apprehensions would fall to just 242,608 in 1955, and would continuously decline by year until 1962, when there was a slight rise in apprehended workers.[37] During the entirety of the Operation, border recruitment of undocumented workers by American growers continued due largely to the inexpensiveness of undocumented labor and the desire of growers to avoid the bureaucratic obstacles of the Bracero program; the continuation of illegal immigration despite the efforts of Operation Wetback was largely responsible for the failure of the program.[38] Despite the decline in apprehensions, the total number of Border Patrol agents more than doubled to 1,692 by 1962, and an additional plane was also added to the force.[39] In terms of apprehensions, Operation Wetback was immediately successful. However, this success would be short lived, as the program would fail to limit the number of workers entering the United States from Mexico illegally.[40] The program would also result in a more permanent, strategic border control presence along the United States - Mexico border.[41]

Maybe Obama and Biden will add their gushing praise of Rubio to go along with Schumer and Menendez. I wonder if it’s occured to Rubio that this praise is also meant to further damage him with the Republican base, and to damage his future political prospects.

Well, Limbaugh’s lips have been glued to Rubio’s posterior at least since his election to the Senate.

I don’t know if it’s his new wife, but Rush has been lacking passion for a while now. I’ve stopped listening to his show because, when he’s not talking about himself, he’s whining.

Glenn Beck is calling him Senator Dirtbag. I wonder how that translates into spanish?

I think "Senador Cochino" conveys the idea. "Cochino" literally means pig, but it has other connotations.

I’m the same...my blood pressure rose just listening to him!

It’s PAST time Levin (and other hosts) come down on these guys—I’m tired of being spoken to like a two year old (or, an obama voter.)

“God bless Fox,” Graham said. “Last time it was ‘amnesty’ every fifteen seconds.” He sad that the change was important for his reelection, because “eighty per cent of people in my primary get their news from Fox.” He added that the network has “allowed critics to come forward, but it’s been so much better.”

And yet they keep electing him.

"Mendenez said that if the Gang of Eight were a group of high school students Rubio would be the cool jock and the captain of the football team that everyone would want to hang out with."

No, Senor Mendenez. In that scenario, Rubio would be the water-boy for the opposing side, making countless trips on and off the field during the whole game.....energetically and enthusiastically carrying the enemy's water to help them beat his own home team.

Que traidor, "Capitan" Rubio!

Funny, I don’t feel “neutralized”.
********************************************
Me neither—I feel energized...and ANGRY. At the direction or Schumer & crew, Rubio has committed ritualized hara-kiri and is too obtuse to realize it.

It hurt to hear Rush say, “We've been played.” But then he proceeded to finely chop the Rinos, and that was cheering.

Time for Rush to show these pampered a**holes in the Senate how wrong they are: give out the DC phone numbers over the air and let the American people melt their phone lines for a week.

Now, you idiots, once more time: who is “neutered”?

Does this report mention that when the useful idiot Rubio leaves the room the democrats fall all over themselves laughing at him ?

Don't be fooled. Rubio is one of them. Trust me, they love the guy.

RE :”Menendez told me that Rubio’s role was to “work over the conservative universe, particularly the conservative opinion-maker universe,” in order to “neutralize them” and, in some cases, “proselytize them.” Schumer said, “He’s the real deal. He is smart, he is substantive. He knows when to compromise and when to hold. And he’s personable.” An aide to Menendez said that if the Gang were a group of high-school students, Rubio would be the cool jock and the captain of the football team, with whom everyone wanted to hang out. Schumer often found himself mediating disputes between Rubio and McCain, who felt that Rubio’s public statements sometimes positioned him positively with conservatives at the expense of the Gang. McCain would call Schumer and fume, “Look what Rubio’s doing!”

I just read the above which shows Senate Dems praising Rubio for Bamboozling Rush and others and their audiences and Republicans in general by going on their shows and lying (my word) repeatably.

Its going to be real tough to go back to all the FR ‘Dems oppose GOPs budget’ threads and join the whining after they pull this deceitful scam on us.
