Sounds like a Kennedy on any given day of the week.

A very married man speeding alone like a streaking comet through traffic signals in the darkness of 4 AM ....ah, the Age of Aquarius' narcissisistic, if-it-feels-good-do-it, FREE-DUMB.

Sounds to me like a man whose accelerator was stuck ‘down’.

That was my thought, too. I doubt whether they would use a bomb or a drone. The damage would be too obvious and hard to cover up. But it wouldn't be hard to tamper with the car while he was away from it doing something else, and fix it so it would suddenly accelerate and not respond to the brakes.

Hi E Pluribus, I hope you are well.

Yes, it is similar to Silkwood, as to the facts of the collision. I can’t help but think, on a broader level, of the mysterious death of someone that has obtained “explosive” information. Please forgive the pun.

I’m reminded of my friend, Ted Richardson, an Asst. U.S. Atty that had info on John Doe in the OKC Murrah Building bombing. His death, declared suicide by a shotgun blast, is still disputed. http://www.freewebz.com/jeffhead/liberty/okcsuicide.htm

Maybe someday we will know what, Silkwood, Richardson, Hastings, etc. knew that got them noticed.

Stay safe, my FRiend.

Didn’t one of the Clinton associates’ car inexplicably veer off the highway and hit a tree? It caused some comment during the Clinton regime.

Quite a few automobile 'accidents' during the Clinton era.

Just a quick, simple gleaning of Alamo-Girl's "Downside Legacy" compilation, thereto which I had contributed hundreds of references.

Keith Coney, Motorcycle Accident (Ives/Henry Witness)
-----Kevin Ives (Witness to Mena, skull crushed, left to be run over by train)
----- Don Henry (Witness to Mena, stabbed, left to be run over by train)
-- Keith McKaskle (Ives/Henry Informant, Stabbed)
-- Gregory Collins (Ives/Henry Informant, Gunshot to Head)
-- James Milon (Ives/Henry Informant, Decapitated)
-- Richard Winters (Ives/Henry Suspect, Shotgunned)
-- Jordan Ketelson (Ives/Henry Informant, Shotgunned)

Ralph Baker
Michael Whiteley 3/22/98 ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE "……A pickup truck and a four-wheeler were missing, but Ralph Baker had more on his mind than stolen vehicles when he set out around 6:15 on the rain-soaked Monday morning of his death. ……… He was deeply troubled by state and federal investigations of the Madison County sheriff's office he had run for more than a quarter-century and concerned by newspaper stories that flew against his reputation as a resolute and fearless lawman. He drowned before the sun was up that day, Jan. 5, apparently having misjudged the rising waters of the White River when he drove onto a low-water bridge near St. Paul. …….The death was so contrary to the nature and history of the 59-year-old sheriff that whispers of suicide or foul play colored gossip in the weeks that followed. …….. In December, the FBI had subpoenaed Baker's bank records amid questions surrounding nearly $500,000 in land purchases by the sheriff and his family. State auditors had been combing the records of the Madison County Drug Eradication Fund since November. And stories in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette had detailed allegations of corruption in the sheriff's office and flaws in the investigation of the unsolved 1994 murder of convenience store owner Billie Jean Phillips…….The investigation deals in part with the sheriff's office's handling of drug cases, and, in part, with financial deals that allowed Baker, his wife and two cousins to buy about 2,400 acres of land in Madison, Franklin and Washington counties with payments of $484,250. Nearly all the purchases were made in cash. ......And it eventually touched on Baker's relationship with the top official at an Arkansas financial institution swept up in the Whitewater investigation -- Gary W. Bunch, president of Madison Bank & Trust.

Lt Colonel Mark Cwick

NewsMax.com 8/22/99 "…Lt. Colonel Mark Cwick, a Marine Corp helicopter pilot who served President Bill Clinton, died this past week in what appears to have been a car accident. Cwick, 41, was pronounced dead Friday at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. On Thursday night, Colonel Cwick suffered fatal injuries when driving to his home. Police told the Associated Press that "a car [Cwick] was trying to pass moved in front of him, and to avoid it, he swerved off the road into an embankment and hit some trees." Colonel Cwick was no ordinary person. As a member of the elite Marine Corps HMX-1 unit, he was responsible for ferrying the President and other high-ranking officials around the Washington area. Apparently, Colonel Cwick has also fallen victim to the Clinton Curse. It has become undeniable that an unusual number of people close to Bill Clinton have died in accidental, violent and often suspicious deaths. Within Cwick’s own elite HMX-1 Unit, two other strange deaths are known to have occurred. This past April, Major Marc Hohle, who had been a pilot for Bill Clinton during the first year of Clinton's first term, died in a helicopter crash in Okinawa. Three others also died in the crash. In March of this year, just a month before Hohle’s untimely death, another member of HMX-1 unit died. Marine Cpl. Eric S. Fox, a helicopter crewman, was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head. Police authorities said Fox's body was found near a school yard in West Virginia…."

Sounds like a man driving as if he thought he was being chased. Or hunted.

Or one driving a car with a malfunctioning throttle link.

As more details come out the “Boom!” and fire happened before the car hit the tree. The damage to the car and the fact that the engine was found at a right angle to the vehicle about 200 ft. away doesn’t add up with the narrative. If he hit tree at a high speed wouldn’t the front bumper would be in the back seat? It seems to me like the car almost came to a rest against the tree after the trauma had happened.

Why did he hit a tree? maybe he wasn’t alive when he was driving? This needs to be looked at closely—This isn’t the America I grew up in. Imagine if Woodward or Burnstein had an “accident” back in Watergate Times? Looks to me like too many oppoents to Obama are turning up dead. A special assassination squad operating in the White House? Crazy Idea? Like the IRS targeting religious/Tea Party/Conservatives? Things got to change—if they can at this late date.

I’d be interested in seeing pictures of the car. If it was a Mercedes, they are pretty crash proof....

Gruesome Video Of What Appears To Be Fiery Aftermath Of Michael Hastings' Car Crash Emerges (VIDEO)

This is a video that mostly shows a fire but that also shows the engine on the ground a significant distance away from the car. Somehow, other sites with this video are flagged as "untrusted". That includes Gawker.

Can a car with Onstar be controlled?

And the amount of fire in a diesel car was ridiculous. A witness in a video I saw this morning said it exploded into flame immediately. I don’t think that’s typical of a car fire, even after hitting a tree.

I get the feeling he had no ability to stop the car when he was going through the lights.
He must has been terrified going at such speeds knowing he was powerless to slow down or come to a controlled stop.
We will never know the true story just like so many others.

Sounds like a man driving as if he thought he was being chased. Or hunted.

Or they have some way to make a car's accelerator stick in full throttle.

Messing with someone’s brake lines or fixing it so that the car speeds up and the driver has no control could also be another explanation.
