Irony? Seems like in the 1940s, we kids used a little bottle of LePage’s glue, which would do the opposite of Vaseline.
I know it’s not pertinent to the subject, but when you get old thoughts like that just pop into the head.

Governor LaPage has a good chance to be re-elected.
It may very well be a three way race again. Independent Lloyd Cutler is almost certain to run and of course the Democrats will run a candidate as well.

So the Rats are trying to make this into some kind of scandal??? They say far worse about our folks (i.e. Sarah Palin) every day.

“someone with a brain come down here and do some good work.
How confidently arrogant of you to suggest that liberals for one have a brain and then to suggest they do good work with it.

I
love Governor LePage, the best thing that's happened to Maine in years!
Unfortunately, the commies who infest the state have had the long knives out for him from the beginning.
His first term, the governorship and the legislature became Republican for the first time in about 40 years.
Since then, the legislature's flipped back into the commies' hands.
One brief flash of light, now back to entitlement dystopia, what a tragedy.

Hes a great governor trying to fix the wefare state that Maine has become, but, sad to say, hes going to get voted out in the next election cause thats the Maine way. Are you from Maine? Here in MA, Howie Carr gives us periodic updates about LePage on WRKO. LePage seems like a great guy. But Maine seems to be hopeless, like Massachusetts.

I have had Troy Jackson in my boat for the day. Liked the guy. When he’s not in the Senate he is sitting on his “skiddah” and cutting trees up in northern Maine. No doubt there has been some pretty colorful language shared by the two men. The hair is real and the guy is more comfortable in Carhartt or Dickies than Brooks Brothers. Politically he and I do not agree but IMO if there have to be Democrats in the legislature I’d take him over most

Lots and lots of people in Maine use large quantities of Vaseline. Many live in Ogunquit (? spelling) but I'll wager that at least one or two of them are in the Maine State Legislature.
