Edward Snowden, the former US intelligence contractor who leaked classified documents revealing US internet and phone surveillance, has asked Ecuador for asylum.

The request was confirmed by Ecuador's foreign minister on Twitter.

Once he started exposing secrets about China he went way too far. So he must be neutralized. Also the NSA crap must be stopped. Ignore the dumnasses who think one has to choose between two evils

The just reelected President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa (Snowden’s new homeland?):
“Socialism will continue. The Ecuadorian people voted for that. We are going to emphasize this fight for social justice, for regional justice. We are going to continue the fight to eliminate all forms of workplace exploitation within our socialist conviction: the supremacy of human work over capital. Nobody is in any doubt that our preferential option is for the poorest people, we are here because of them. Hasta la victoria siempre! (Until victory, for ever).”

I think when Waldo began his escapade there were many who were willing to wait a bit to see how it was going to play...his actions..where he went..and what documents he would show and most importantly to whom would prove his intentions.....Giving those to the Guardian should have been a heads up for everyone to begin with...Assange and his teams are seamed with the Guardian.....

...so as Waldo moved along his steps were clearly in the ‘same stride’ as Assange’s...and the style of delivering Documents at specific and planned events in order to affect International Events.... Waldo did likewise with Greenwalds trusty delivery service.

Waldo thinks he’s on the good side of Assange...what he doesn’t know is there is no good side of the man.....but he will soon learn that Assange plays for keeps.

Re: “Obama would never issue the order.”

Don’t be too sure.

How many people who may have known too much about the Clinton Syndicate had airplanes mysteriously fall out from under them and crash with no survivors?

Some people are still trying to prove that TWA 800 was shot down rather than had a tank explode, but few seem to take them seriously, despite several eyewitness accounts of what appeared to be a SAM missile taking it down.

If an airliner full of people goes down in a remote area, who investigates the “accident”?
The government, right?

There was a good reason why Snowden wasn’t on that plane - he probably knew better. Then again, has anyone heard from him lately?

Re your #36:

“Ed Snowden beware: U.S. State Dept. has confirmed history of running covert abductions of Americans in Ecuador
(NaturalNews) As reported by the Associated Press, Edward Snowden managed to evade U.S. authorities...”
(So far...???)

http://www.naturalnews.com/040909_Ed_Snowden_Ecuador_abductions.html

The only question now is whether he will be kidnapped to face “Justice” (or revenge, depending on your perspective) or just get whacked as an example to any other potential “whistle blowers”.

He probably knows that his days are seriously numbered wherever he tries to hide out.

As an aside; where has “Anonymous” been through all of this? Have they made any statements or taken either side of the “big brother” issue?

Forget the NSA leaks. Snowden’s a hero for making one nation after another say FU to BO on the international stage, and it’s hilarious to watch.

Gov. can and does abduct when and where they want to. Ecuador isn’t exempt....nor any other nation...so do other nations abduct. That’s how the Big boys do play...behind the scenes.

Well I wouldn’t go that far...but I have to say I’m also enjoying the show...cat and mouse.... and their roles both change....you never know which is the cat or the mouse from one moment to the other. However Waldo is certainly the one on the run.

Slip and slid’en around!

Re your #120; Some of those old Soviet airliners don’t need any external encouragement to fall apart in mid air or inconveniently collide with the earth’s surface.

It might really be an “accident”... for a change.

If the Ruskies want him moved securely and discretely, I have a feeling that they are quite capable of arranging it - and King Obozo would be unable or would not dare to interfere.
If they want him to survive once he gets there, however, they will have to provide competent security 24/7.

RE your #150: “Gov. can and does abduct when and where they want to.”

I’m not in any position to really know, but have a strong sense that you are probably 100% correct about that.

Yep. The old good guys vs bad guys kind of thinking is outdated and probably never applied. Unfortunately we must navigate in a world of various degrees of wrong and evil. It is us against almost the entire world. Scary.

For one thing it is not a police state like what this country is turning into. Also no big brother watching over you shoulder and can actually live decent on a modest retorement.

I do ‘alot’ of homework concerning that which interests me....

....but if we can swoop to grab, as our Military Teams have done and reported proven, they certainly can do so with Waldo. He was in the “mole” mode prior...now he’s held up underground somewhere...unless Putin took him home for awhile. (said the spider to the fly).

After reading that article, it also sounds like they want the media to be accountable for what they say. Interesting.
