I don't know her but she lives in my old hometown. Good choice on her part...heaven on earth if rather hot in the summer.

One reason I became friends with her on Facebook !

I don't want to invade her privacy...but I might look her up.
BTW, the reason I know she lives in Douglas is that it was announced in an old NYTimes article.

Can someone ‘splain this to me?
To: RoosterRedux
She has lived in AZ since at least the early 80’s because a friend of mine was corresponding with her back then and he told me she lived there .

Moe (Maureen) Tucker was the drummer for Lou Reed’s original NYC band, The Velvet Underground. She is not exactly the type of person, ie., from that era (also my era, btw) who you would expect to be a tea partier.

Maureen is very influential with warmed-over hippies...but here's what she says...
What would you like to see change? The current administration!

Good interview. She says nothing that would make her unwelcome here.

Small world man. Lived in Douglas a short while before coming back home to hill country.
Saw Colt Ford and Brantley Gilbert play that little bar in Willacoochie.

Is that the "No Name" club?
I hear that place gets pretty lively at times.

Yeah...that’s the one...and I can only speak for the show I saw there...but yeah...it was ummm...lively. If by lively you mean lots of women flashing boobage. ;)
