Rush said in 2006, that he wasn’t going to carry the GOP’s water anymore. I guess he forgot. Rush is getting pretty weak these days, but he doesn’t know it. He thinks his “Limbaugh Theorem” is brilliant, and his low info voter shtick is also brilliant. He doesn’t realize that there are also a ton of low information GOP voters as well, who buy into the Karl Rove establishment message machine. Rush needs to address them.
Rush has treated Rubio with kid gloves in a negligent way; Rush refused to endorse a GOP presidential primary candidate in 2008 and 2012. My question at this point is, how much worse would this government be if Rush Limbaugh never existed?
Got it.
Like my aunt. She listens to Rush...and Tokyo Rove :(
It'd probably be worse. I think Rush's impact is the effect he has on the thinking of many listers over the years, year-after-year. I bet he's converted a few million from leftist to conservative thinking during the 25 or so years he's been nationwide.
But I don't think he can affect things in a major way in the short run, or by saying anything during a given election cycle. Still, he's probably the biggest individual influence around today, and for most of the past quarter century.
“My question at this point is, how much worse would this government be if Rush Limbaugh never existed?”
Interesting POV; things would definitely be “different”, if his opinion hadn’t broken on the national scene, years ago. Just HOW MUCH “different”, is the question. Would Nature have automatically filled that vacuum, with someone else? Perhaps; perhaps not.
With all due respect, both Rush and Mark Levin have given RINO Rat Rubio a pass; they both KNOW he’s a stinking liar and traitor, right to their faces on multiple occasions, and they haven’t excoriated him for it.
Yes, the GOP has a lot of LIVs. I despise and loathe Rove&Co, but I finally voted for Romney in 2012, since “he was what was for dinner” vs 0traitor for a 2nd term, which I knew would destroy this Nation. Not voting was idiotic, given the choices, yet many millions stayed home and didn’t vote.
>>The change at the station will mean an end to the political talk which has dominated WIOUs airwaves for the past decade,
I don't know if there are other Rush affiliates they can pick up but check out the page for affiliates at Rush's site.
Bammie may be happy, as girl on her first date, that we are being ridiculed and ‘pay no mind’ by Putin and China BUT what he doesn’t realize is that their attitude is directed at HIM as a weak sister.
The actors will sell Obamacare and the sheeple will eat it up!
Add the NFL to the purveyors of the “wonders” of Obamacare.
Ironically (or not), few of the Hollywood types who will do these Obamacare promos will actually use Obamacare themselves.
They’ll still have their own doctors and private-pay plans.
Rush has never endorsed a primary candidate ever.......
“...primary candidate...”
Good catch; missed it completely.
I suspect those same 50% will vote for recalling McCain and Flake.
That's the way to increase the "Hispanic" vote, you dopey RINOs.

Bad company
I used to love watching sports, but now I can’t stand it. Not even the Tigers! If I try to watch any sporting event, it feels to much like “bread and circuses!” I just find no joy in them anymore.
I just returned to the Michigan Truck driver. Doesn’t he know that if he likes his health insurance, he’ll be able to keep his health insurance? At least that is what King Hussein tells us.
bttt
If you really, REALLY love baseball and can’t take the MLB drama queens or the stuff ESPN dishes out as an excuse for “coverage” anymore, check out your local high school, small college (if there’s one around), or even kids’ baseball such as teams sponsored by the American Legion.
Might not see all of those 99 MPH fastballs, but that’s more than compensated by watching these kids just having fun playing the damn game.
I’ve been in and around baseball/fast pitch softball for close to sixty years now, and I still maintain that REAL baseball is the look on the face of that eight year-old next door who just hit his first honest single.
