There is a better avenue for restoration of societal rights.
Felons who have served their sentence can demonstrate they have turned over a new leaf by acts and deeds. Then, they can petition the governor of their state for a pardon. Once granted, they'd be welcome in my shop.

This isn’t an issue of societal rights, it’s an issue of voter fraud. The felons data is collected, and voting is done for them via absentee ballot, or manipulated by providing cell phones, breakfast etc. for early voting, for candidate of their choice. It is one of the reasons there were so many duplicate votes in the last election. There is no way to check or verify votes.
