Wendy Davis strode onto the floor of the Texas Senate chamber on Tuesday in rouge-red running shoes, and came off it early Wednesday morning as the Democratic Partyís newest star.

During 13 hours in between, the little-known legislator from Fort Worth delivered a filibuster that electrified social media and stopped passage of one of the nationís toughest set of abortion restrictions in the waning hours of a special session.

Only in the sick world of the Democrats is an unapologetic advocate for mass-infanticide a “star.”

Short lived fame. There will be another session. And her anti-democracy pals who shouted during the vote to delay it after the filibuster ended should be jailed.

This gal supports babies being killed before they are born,

Sarah Palin supports babies being protected before they are born.

She broke the senate rules and had a bunch of people in the gallery that caused the vote to be late. Typical dim behavior that prevented the democratic process to be completed. Shout at the top of your lungs to silence your opponents.

Word is that she is planning on running for governor of Texas.

I'm sure I read last week that she is the daughter of former Governor Ann Richards. In a big writeup in today's Dallas Morning News there is no mention of this. It just says she went to work at 14 to help support her single mother, and that at 19 she was a divorced single mom herself, and that she was first in her family to graduate from college. So, did Governor Richards not have a college degree? I'm confused.

First line on her resume: Supports the murder of infants, especially those older than 20 weeks in the womb (It’s the right to choose murder over life).

Interesting segment on Fox & Friends this morning. Young boy relates near-death experience that includes meeting with his sister who died in a miscarriage. He was between 3 and 4-yrs old and his parents never mentioned to him (and why would they at that age) that his mother had a miscarriage. Certainly provides another reason to prevent killing of the unborn.

Boy shares stories from his journey to heaven

I must say that I listened to Kirstin Powers and Monica Crowley yesterday with Megyn Kelly.

I’ve always thought Kirstin was a liberal egg head, but it was refreshing to hear her and Monica on the same page regarding this legislation.

How is it that this senator, (planned parenthood and ACLU), can misrepresent the facts on this? I’m a physician, but it should be very clear to anyone reviewing this law that it is written to protect women who are having abortions in Texas...PERIOD.

1. It is not restricting abortion to just 5 clinics.
2. It is establishing a gold standard for abortion care.
3. It is establishing a gold standard for the physician performing this procedure.
4. It reduces the cut off for abortion to 20 weeks from 24, (I believe I heard this right).
5. It does allow for abortions after 20 weeks if the fetus is deformed or if it has serious medical problems.

The bill protects women and a healthy fetus. This senator, in essence wishes to kill healthy fetuses.

BTW-Did I hear this right? 70,000 abortions are performed each year in Texas at a cost of $1000 each? $70,000,000 I think that pretty much sums up the opposition, does it not, Folks?

Won't that change under the latest SC ruling on the Voting Rights Act?

I sense she just painted a bullseye on her derriere.

That picture is somewhat flattering due to the soft focus. In reality, this wicked "woman" looks like this:

As an advocate for the mass slaughter of innocent children at death mills, her inner evil is more readily apparent in the picture above. She has all the charm of Ted Kennedy.

Today, she stated that she only staged the filibuster because it was so near the end of the session that she could run out the clock but that she would not be filibustering in the new session because there was no chance of stopping the bill from becoming law. I suppose she would contend that hers was a principled stand but in reality, her self aggrandizing stunt cost the taxpayers of Texas the considerable sum necessary to pay for another special session and did her cause no good.

Word is that she is planning on running for governor of Texas.

That is the buzz in the Republican camp.

It just says she went to work at 14 to help support her single mother

What does that say about Ann Richards that she would put her daughter to work at age 14?

Quite the opposite treatment by the “news” media that Rand Paul got in his filibuster, eh? Could it have to do with their respective parties and that the “news” media are the propaganda arm of the Dem party?

Well, that would be classic statism by cultural Class/racism. The variable target populations- become well conditioned to accept all possible behaviors, and thus, accepts no consequence of responsibility. Run a few generations of such, and you have the perfect slaves of the State.

What pisses me off about this besides the fact that she was speaking for murder of babies is that when the Republicans filibuster it is terrible, but when democrats do it, they are put up as a hero. Something is not right.

Well that picture does not do her justice. She is a very good looking young lady who is a nasty person inside. I would rather be the most ugliest person on the outside and be right with God on the inside. Too bad she does not feel she needs to be right with God. Her behavior is especially surprising coming from Texas.

No, that is incorrect, 72% in her district speak only English, that's higher than the state as a whole, which is 65%.

In her district 28% speak other than English at home (ie. Spanish at home), of those, 20% speak English well, and 8% speak bad or no English.

So, basically her district is less hispanic than Texas as a whole, which makes sense, if her district was heavily hispanic, I don't think she would have done what she did. Hispanics are not very big supporters of abortion.

Late last night, while channel surfing, I thought I came across some late night porn channel... as here on my televison set there was this shorthaired lesbian-looking chick that really sounded like she was about to orgasm.

Turned out it was just Rachel Maddow on MSLSD gushing over her new hero.

I still suspect she had a vibrator running under the newsdesk.
