by Breitbart News 30 Jun 2013, 9:50 AM PDT post a comment On Saturday, Vice President Joe Biden spoke at a major Virginia fundraiser, pushing himself as a possible 2016 presidential contender. “With virtually zero support from the Republicans, the president and I have moved the country from the worst recession since the Great Depression to 38 months of private-sector growth,” said Biden. Biden then launched an assault on Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli, the state’s attorney general, whom he said was “at odds with the value set of Virginians.”
He said that the GOP was now in danger of being controlled by the Tea Party. “They are so afraid of a challenge by the tea party that they vote against what is the right vote,” said Biden.

I was going to make some remark about this doofus being a wonderful life insurance policy for the doofus in chief, but I’m not sure what the plural of “doofus” is.

I think we have reached the point where it should be referred to as "The First Depression". This many people out of work for this long, and more illegals being added to the workforce (because when you have too much of something the way to solve the problem is to add more of it) all indicate that it will take another 10 years to get out of this downturn, whatever you call it.
Certainly the first step it get Obama out of the White House. Business owners are not going to spend any money on personnel until they get some reasonable assurance that the reign of bureaucratic tyranny is over. And the economy will not recover until we can find useful jobs for middle-class kids with useless college degrees.
