Rush Limbaugh credits Free Republic for starting the Tea Party (Link to Audio)
Rush/You Tube ^ | July 3, 2013 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 07/03/2013 10:43:25 AM PDT by airedale

Rush Limbaugh just spent about 5 minutes talking about Free Republic as being the forerunner to the TEA Party and a group rejecting the progressive leadership of the Republican Party during the Clinton administration. Very positive.

Levin wasn’t even stealth. He was very active as Hold On Now for years. He hasn’t been involved in recent times, at least under that account.

As I just said on another thread, the Republican and the Democrat parties are owned by the same people. Go

thank you for posting Rush’s shoutout. I was looking for his daily thread but could not find it for today.

I have long suspected he lurks out on FreeRepublic because if something is breaking & posted here, he will mention it moments later. I dont want him to think we suspect he hangs out here, kinda like when a celebrity is dinning in a resturant, otherwise they wont come back.

"....Free Republic as being the forerunner to the TEA Party...."

Sure, I remember "Freeping" Liebermnan's house in New Haven, "Freeping" the UN, and "Freeping" a leftist parade in DC (among others).

And whatever happened to the Protest Warriors? Haven't seen them in awhile....

Was a nice talk about FReepers.

==

Rush failed to recall how the current ‘tea party’ movement got started. It was because of a rant on CNBC by Rick Santelli. It was not regarding Obamacare, but government bailouts.

RE: the Tea Party movement.

Hell, we lost faith in the Rockefeller internationalist Republicans long ago and at the start of the modern conservative movement; that is why we were for Goldwater in 1964.

.. and the Republican Party movers and shakers had come to the attitude by 1964 that they still have today; to wit, the enemy (the modern conservative movement, today the Tea Party movement) had to be destroyed as members of the human race.

As for two parties.. they were little more than Tweedledum and Tweedledee in those days also.

Show prep for Rush’s show. ;)

I think he does glance at it at sometimes, possibly even while on air.

He’s mentioned it before.

Wow, he was right on. He is right, 2014 will be great for us since there is no GOP-e running. It is time to clean house. I was really impressed he had James O’Keefe on. He rarely has guests, I am thinking Rush is feed up and is testing the waters of not playing it safe anymore, what say you?
