NTUF's Douglas Kellogg told Secrets that Obama's Africa Air Force One bill to taxpayers was $6,654,345.
But unlike those costs which are hard to estimate and often kept secret, Air Force One costs can be calculated based on published hourly figures provided by the Pentagon.
So far, the president has spent 18 days abroad, is on a pace to surpass is 20 days abroad in 2010 and 2011 and is approaching his high of 40 days in 2009. Total costs so far for Air Force One calculated by NTUF are $15,219,433.

You’d never know that there are any “cutbacks” going on unless you go around a military base. The Kenyan and his “single mom” wife sure aren’t going to let any stinkin’ cutbacks wreck their lifestyle of the rich and famous. They’re living a once in a lifetime opportunity.
The president takes the enormous carbon footprint of Air Force One and all his assorted hangers on who travel with him, to Africa, to lecture Africans about the need to fight global warming. Among other things, Africans can’t industiralize and have cars and air conditioners, says the American president with a carbon footprint thousands of times larger than African peasants.
His lecturing Africans about global warming and how they should embrace homosexuality didn’t go over so well on this trip. I wonder if Obama knows that much of the world isn’t as liberal as he is.

Good thing he shut down the White Hut tours or we could never have afforded his vacation (which included Chewbacca’s mother and a niece.)

Now see, that $6.5 mil is merely chump change compared to $24 mil for air costs. Just a drop in the bucket. Nothing for y’all to get all hyper about. It’s probably even more insignificant compared to the boob belt budget.
